Is there anything pop sensation Justin Bieber, 16, can't do? Well, besides legally drink and buy cigarettes and lotto tickets. Apparently not, because the kid who makes tween hearts go aflutter is making his real-deal acting debut on the season premiere of CBS series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Bieber, who has previously appeared as himself on Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP and on Saturday Night Live, where he famously portrayed the object of Tina Fey's obsession, will play Jason McCann, "a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother--a decision that leads him into an explosive confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an explosive story that will conclude later in the season," according to the CBS press release.

An even better excerpt from the press release:

"Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers. This will be true event television," Executive Producers Carol Mendelsohn, Don McGill and Anthony Zuiker said in joint statement.

Are tweens even allowed to watch CSI? And since when do Justin Bieber and CSI go together like peanut butter and jelly? Also, do we have Kevin Federline to blame for all of this, since he seemingly paved the way for pop stars appearing on CSI? Can we even call K-Fed a pop star? All I know is that the answers to those questions don't even matter, because anything Bieber touches turns to gold (or platinum, I should say). Unless it's a fan he's touching, in which case it turns into a shrieking hot mess. Happy watching, tweens (if your parents will let you)!
We all know that Selena Gomez is a fan of Justin Bieber, much like he is a fan of hers. So when you hear that Justin Bieber may get the chance to guest star on Wizards of Waverly Place, it is a big deal. Here is what he had to say, along with his manager in the videos.
I think it would be really great for him to appear on the show and even give the Wizards of Waverly Place higher ratings due to him appearing. Plus it could lead to a possible duet between them! I am really hoping that Justin Bieber will get the chance to be on it and I am sure that many of you agree. Perhaps we could all send the Disney Channel a letter?
Don’t forget to see the sneak peek of Justin Bieber winning big at the Teen Choice Awards! This is another great accomplishment that he has in his books. Of course, appearing on the Wizards of Waverly Place would be another great accomplishment for him.
The Internet sensation left his legion of 'Beliebers' begging for more with an energetic performance on stage last night in Los Angeles.
Bieber was performing at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles as part of his My World concert tour.
Dressed all in white with purple trainers the 16-year-old busted out the moves during his show, where he performed all his hits including Baby, Somebody To Love and Never Say Never.
Bieber's tour has been a sell-out success, forcing him to add a second leg, with shows scheduled through till Christmas.
Bieber mania is rife with the star's fans turning out in their droves...

Justin Bieber would be nowhere without his mother, Pattie Mallette: She posted the now-infamous videos of him on YouTube, relocated to Atlanta with him so he could launch his recording career and keeps him grounded with chores and a curfew. But in honor of Father's Day, it's time to pay tribute to the man behind the boy: Jeremy Bieber.
Though Justin was raised by his mom in Stratford, Ontario, his father has always been a part of his life. "I have a great relationship with my dad," the pop star, 16, told Seventeen. "When I was younger, he taught me how to play some songs on the guitar, like...

Are the Jonas Brothers getting too old for the biz? Research at the Disney Channel, uncovered by The Daily Beast, says that Nick, Joe, and Kevin are taking a hit in album sales and ratings for their Disney show, "JONAS."
"I think it's something of a changing of the guard in terms of a teen pop crush," said Billboard editor Ann Donahue. "Justin Bieber is definitely the next new thing and is overshadowing the Jonas Brothers." The Disney research says that 8 and 9 year old girls still love the Jonas Brothers, but 9 and 10 year old girls are embarrassed to talk about them. While Bieber might have...

Even Miley Cyrus has fallen for Justin Bieber – for his pranks, that is.
“It sounded like a little kid,” Miley told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in an interview for Access and “The Billy Bush Show” of the “Baby” singer’s recent late-night prank call. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I am so mad.’ Then I get a text, he’s like, ‘Haha.’” However, Miley told Billy that she wound up laughing, too.
“I have him in my phone as Bieber Fever, so that’s always pretty funny when you get one of those [texts],” she said.
The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer said she can’t prank Biebs back – thanks to her little sister Noah’s crush. “I can’t really be mean because my little sister is like, never ever going to have a boyfriend until it can be Justin Bieber,” Miley said. “She’s saving herself for the Biebs.” And Justin’s not the only one with a nickname in her phone. “My little sister is Mrs. Bieber in my phone,” she added.
Justin Bieber's expanding his dance horizons in his new music video with Usher. The "Somebody to Love" clip is said to stay simple, just featuring Justin Bieber and some stellar dancing skills. "We're bringing Justin into the world of dance on this one," says music video director Dave Meyers. "Giving Justin a chance to integrate into different styles of dance. We kept it simple with the art direction - Real graphic and highlighted the dance." Meyers also adds that fans shouldn't expect a huge crowd of people in the video or a storyline (like in his "Baby" video). "It's really awesome to be able to work with professional dancers," Bieber says. "Like people who were on America's Best Dance Crew," he adds. He's also promoting the new "Somebody to Love" music video via his Twitter account.
Justin Bieber once stole his teacher’s pen so he could change his grade on an exam. The 16-year-old Canadian pop star has been home-schooled since he shot to fame last year. He loves not having to go to school everyday, but enjoys reminiscing about some of his naughtier escapades. The star says he used to lie all the time, and even changed his fail grade to a pass so his mother wouldn’t find out how badly he had done in an exam. “I tell a lot of lies,” Justin told Top of the Pops magazine. “A couple of years ago. I had an F grade on a test at school, but I turned it into a B with...

Justin Bieber tried to pull a fast one at a movie theater this past weekend — and it didn't exactly work out for him. On Saturday, at the Showcase Cinema de Lux at Patriot Place in Foxborough, Mass., “Justin was in general admission seating for the 2 p.m. showing of Get Him to the Greek,” an eyewitness tells Star. "He was with a bodyguard, his manager, Scott Braun, and another person. Justin snuck out of his seat and tried to get into the premium seating. The problem was that it’s only for people 21 and over. He was caught red-handed and turned away by the theater manager!” The Biebs,...

I have three things to talk about.

A Matter of Taste:

I was reading about Justin's SNL performance on Billboard.com and some JEEEEEERRRKK commented on it.
You know, the usual crap "oh justin Bieber's such a nice girl, oh wait it's a boy." I'm sure he found himself amusing.
But then he said "he's worse than the backstreet boys." which is sort of a backwards compliment. See, if someone who thinks the backstreet boys sucked thinks Justin is worse than they are, then since in reality the Backstreet Boys were AWESOME, he kind of said that Justin was BETTER than them.
It's all in how you look at it,...
