With a strong push from his fans,Justin Bieber reaches 10 million followers on the social networking site Twitter. This is a great feat achieved by the young pop start, despite being much younger and less experienced than his rivals on twitter. Amongst the top twitter stars are some of the biggest names in the industry such as Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian and Oprah.

This also proves the might and influence pop stars have over the world when famous world leaders such as Barack Obama have well under 10 Million followers.

Although, the 17 year old pop singer has a huge following but Beliebers,as Bieber fans are called come second to Lady Gaga and her little monsters.

After crossing 10 million mark Justin tweeted.

” #10MillionBeliebers I love u…changing my life everyday. I’m from a town of 30,000…so u guys are 333 times my town! CRAZY! #NeverSayNever “

Bieber and Gaga fans took to the social networking sites battling for their favorite celebrity,trying to be the first group to push their idol over the 1 billion mark before the other on YouTube views.The Gaga’s ”Little Mosters ” won out,with Justin’s ” Beliebers ” hitting the mark just hours later.

Earlier this month Lady Gaga became the first person to have 10 million followers on twitter.However,many projections have estimated that Justin Bieber will pass up Gaga sometime this year.
