Hey everyone, sorry for all the delays and long periods of me being offline, corona you know... But today I finally decided to share all the DIY updates I have made during the recent months, let's start with the fact that I tried beading, it was a long while ago, in January or February, as I remember making them with "The Song Remains The Same" loudly on TV in the background, which means that it was long before covid mess reached my country. So In the pictures you can see two beaded chokers I made for myself, the hippie peace sign and two little pieces I made first to understand how to actually bead as I had never tried it before. What do you think of those? I'm hoping to make more beaded things in the future. ❤️ Then corona mess started and I spent a month doing nothing, except some dreamcathchers for gifts and long, time consuming projects.

The creativity outbreak started again, last week, when my mum brought a pack of pipe cleaners home from shop. Yes, you heard it right, pipe cleaners. And I had never used them before, I mean every toddler uses them in crafting, but in my 17 years long life I had never made anything out of them, when I was younger we barely had any stores in the village, and people, who had just got rid of Soviet Union iron curtain, had never heard of such invention like pipe cleaners.
So in the pictures you can see, the red little SOMETHING is my first work XD I just can't stand how adorable it turned out, I can't resist hugging it every time I enter the room... It was supposed to be a rabbit but doesn't look like one. Later I made beaded dragonfly (beautiful, isn't it), chameleon and simple snake... But my most favorite would be this little white bear, it was supposed to be koala but doesn't look like one (body seems longer than should be) but whatever, right? It's ADORABLE, it feels so tiny and soft and fluffy when hugging my finger... when I'm busy and doing something else with my hands it's hugging one of the little disco balls I have in my room and sitting next to my Book of Shadows and divination tool chest ❤️
Have to admit I love using pipe cleaners so more DIY's are yet to come.

I'm a pretty quick and messy storyteller today so let's leave older updates behind and move on to the most important - my wall. ❤️

So I spent most of the corona quarantine days at home with my mum, which means that we watched each and every 00s and early 10s episode of "Apartment's Question" available on YouTube. After such interior design inspiration I just couldn't resist changing my room again. My new design is loosely inspired by the episode called "Pop Art above the Big City" (WATCH IT, it's amazing link I love the result of the makeover so much, you probably don't speak Russian but you can understand the show anyway, so in this episode they are redoing a room in apartment of two young sisters, it's pop art inspired, I love the red and white colors, Audrey Hepburn, red lip wall and "The Beatles" lyrics on wall so much, you can skip to the end to see result) Of course I couldn't switch colors of my interior in such drastic way like in the show, but I understood that I need something like that, big city aura, pop art, bright, pure colors, beauty, light feeling ❤️ Yesterday I ordered the new pictures, some city themed art that I also edited myself a bit, and two pop art style girls. I love the way it all looks like, like a breath of fresh air, so stylish, lively and bright.

I understood that string of pearls and the second wooden stick don't match the whole aesthetic anymore so I took them off, changed the dreamcatcher stick a bit etc... Afterwards I started to think what to do with the big, empty space under the frames, I didn't want anything much here as certain things would look too 'heavy' and distracting. Just something light, bright and airy...I have always loved those retro style neon signs, but I have no idea where to get one and I'm pretty sure they aren't a good idea for a wall in a tiny apartment room, but I loved the light and bright silhouettes they make, so I took, guess what? Yes, the old good pipe cleaner and made the artistic lightbulb out of it... I know you are laughing right now, believe I'm too.

It doesn't look bad actually, but probably this look is a temporary version, unfinished. I think we could look forward to more changes in my decors coming soon. Or I just leave my lightbulb here longer... it's so cute and looks creative LOL.

Anyway, take a look at the photos and let me know what you think of the new DIY and decor updates ❤️
