I'd say that Sweeney is of course the typical murderer but he needs to get close to his victims to reach their throats whereas Edward's scissors are longer and he could probably kill Sweeney before he could even get close enough to Edward if they were fighting.

I do agree with Olivine, but I just think that, being the psycho that he is, Sweeney woudl find a way.
And besides, to me, Edward doesn't seem like the one that would kill someone else, yet only if he really really really had too.

I will agree with everyone, Edward is just to nice to kill, especially someone like Sweeney. I mean that he'll probably scare the hell out of Edward.
