In my opinion Sweeney Todd should have by all means forgiven Mrs. Lovett because she loved him with all of her heart and even though she knew that he did not love her she was willing to do anything in the world for him, hoping that some day he would love her too.

I picked no because of the reason "she loved him so much" like he cared, but he could forgive her just because....well don't know maybe it would be kind, normal,...that pretty much covers it or at least he could kill her without giving her the impression he forgave her.

YES!!!! First of all, Mrs.Lovett loved this man with all of her heart!!! She didn't tell him about his wife, because if he would've seen her again, he would've been even more heart-broken. If Lucy loved him, she wouldn't had poisoned herself, and let the judge take their daughter. Mrs.Lovett chopped up freaking corpses and sold them to the public for this man. Nellie and Sweeney belong together.

I like Mrs. Lovett, but I picked no, because she was too selfish. If she really loved Sweeney, she would have told him about Lucy. Lucy was Sweeney's 'reason and his life'. In a way, Mrs. Lovett was the one who killed Sweeney.
