Alcon Entertainment and Syncopy in association with Evolutionary Pictures and Straight Up Films are in production on the epic Warner Bros. Pictures sci-fi thriller feature film "Transcendence" starring Johnny Depp. Shooting will take place in New Mexico beginning mid-July. Two-time Primetime Emmy Award winner and four-time Casting Society of America Artios Award winner John Papsidera has cast the film's starring and co-starring roles in Los Angeles. Now the extras casting director has issued a casting call for all ages and types in New Mexico.

Academy Award winning Cinematographer Wally Pfister is making his feature film directorial debut from a screenplay written by newcomer Jack Paglen. Christopher Nolan and Academy Award nominee Emma Thomas are executive producing "Transcendence" under the banner of Nolan's production company Syncopy, Inc. Academy Award nominees Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove are financing and producing for Alcon Entertainment. Johnson and Kosov are also producing under the banner of Evolutionary Pictures. Straight Up Films co-CEO's Marisa Polvino and Kate Cohen are producing with partner Regency Boies. Scott Andrew Robertson is co-producer. Warner Bros. Pictures will distribute.
