Why did he broke up with Winona Ryder?

She was the one who broke up with him sadly because at the time many people was judging their relationship and she couldn't handle it she was 18 and he was 28. Winona said for a magazine that she was very unmature at the time. After she broke up with Johnny She start to have health problems like insomnia and she suffered depression and she said that it was the darkes time of her life cuz she really love him.

He did not break up with her, she broke up with him. Her parents thought she was too young to get married (they were engaged when she was 18, she was 17 when they started dating and he was 26). They were still friends afterward. Johnny mentioned in an interview (can't remember which) that they had dinner with the family afterward, so no hard feelings.
