Hi guys, I had read the book as well as watching the movie. So here are my thoughts and I'll also compare both the movie and the book too.
The Book
When I started reading it, my first expectations was that it was going to be like those Nicholas Sparks' novels. But, as I read the story as it goes on. I personally felt that it is even better than Nicholas Sparks' novels, as it has more wittiness and strong characteristic developments. Despite the fact that the story is very sad, especially the ending itself.
The Movie
Usually, in most movies that were adapted from the book. It's has some changes for the majority of the movie. But, in this case, it's 90% faithful towards the original novel and has a couple of changes in it.
I always like how the characters are brought to life in the movie, it brings the magic of the characters and their interactions altogether. I always feel sad for Hazel and Augustus themselves, I'm glad that the former is trying to move on.
And I'm Grateful
I really enjoy reading and watching it, I hope that you enjoy the book as well as the movie itself.
