When Pam says "I didn't know you could play the guitar," Jim kind of shakes his head and looks like he's about to say "I don't." I know he has a guitar in his room, but I think it is another one of those dreams he has put on the backburner. Besides, Second Life is about what you WISH your life was like. Why would Second Life Philly Jim have a guitar if he could play it? Jim wouldn't fantasize about being a guitar player if he was one.

I've got a guitar and no one in our family can play it lol. I tried for a few months but realised I was really bad... and so was the guitar lol.
So yeah maybe it's just something he wants to do but hasn't got around to it yet.
