I'm reading Sandition now. I've already read one version, but i found out there's another one, which end was written by Juliet Shapiro. I don't know which version i would prefer, but i feel curious about it :-) Posted over a year ago

I never wish to offend, but I am so foolishly shy, that I often seem negligent, when I am only kept back by my natural awkwardness. ~ Jane Austen (Sense & Sensibility) Posted over a year ago

She is such an inspiration to all! Mr. Darcy and her other male leads are so much better than the modern day male "heroes" like edward cullen. blech Posted over a year ago

ummmm... I've been thinking a lot about this, and I think I finally realized why J.A never got married, I think she knew what a perfect man ( like Mr.Darcy and Captain Wentworth) really is, and since these men never existed in real life, she preferred to stay single...

"Only the deepest love will persuade me to marry ,which is why I'll end up an old maid" <------ that's her thoughts. Posted over a year ago

She did fall in love with men she couldn't have which brought on some of the books that she wrote.! over a year ago

i think that when Tom Lefroy married another woman she gave up love. He was the perfect man for her, and after his marrige she was concentrated in writing these nasterpieces. She only wrote about love. All of her books had happy endind. She wrote about the life she should have lived. over a year ago
