James Potter, nicknamed Prongs, was born on March 27th, 1960 as a pureblood son of Mr. and Mrs Potter. He attended Hogwarts from 1971 to 1978 and was a member of Gryffindor. It was there he became friends with Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew, who together created the Marauders Map. He also played Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team.
