“I over reacted when I was in your room last night, it’s just that she just drives me there”
“Oh, ok” I wrote back.
“Are you okay?” he wrote to me.
“Yes, just peachy” I wrote. For some reason he found that funny and wrote me “LOL” I smiled and handed him back the letter, he opened it as if he expected to read something, he looked surprised to just see what he last wrote. From the corner of my eye I seen him glanced at me. He smirked; it made me blush, my cheeks turned red. I was hoping he didn’t notice. After class he walked me to my second period class, “Listen the pack and I are going to hang out tonight you should come” he asked me.
“Don’t I always come along?”
“Yea, you do” He smiled, we got to my class, he hugged me my face pressed against his strong chest, I started to feel weak. “I’m going to keep smiling, I’m gonna keep it moving, cause I don’t need you anymore” I didn’t realize I said it out loud. Jake began to laugh.
“Where did that come from?” he asked.
“Ummm, it’s one of my favorite songs”
“Oh, okay, see you later.” His hands gently passed my lower back sending chill’s up my spin.
I watched as he disappeared threw the crowed hallway. He didn’t come in for 4th period he probably had a meeting with the pack, the rest of the day I tried to keep him of my mind, but it was so hard. The rest of the day went fast, I got in my car, I placed my books in the back seat. Before I started my car, Jacob tad on my window, scaring me so hard I jumped. I placed my hand on my heart and took deep breaths, I lowered my window, Jacob was laughing historically.
“That wasn’t funny Jake” I said.
“It wasn’t meant for you to get scared” he said as he tried to catch his breath.
“What do you want?” I said, I was aggravated by now.
“Can you do me a favor?” he leaned on my car door.
“What”
“Can you take me to Bella’s real fast she texted me”
“Ugh, Okay, hurry up.”
“Thanks Keila”, he kissed my check, I tried my best not to read into it.
I took him to her house, I parked in the front. She was outside, waiting for him. She waved to me; I waved back to her but got jealous when she hugged Jake, I watched every move with envy, she had her hands on his chest, they looked into each other’s eyes, Jake had his hands on her waist. I wished he held me like that. I saw him inch closer to her, I hesitated, I didn’t want to see him kiss her, a balled a fist and was about to knock on my car window, but I stopped, that would make me look desperate, think fast I told myself, ahhhh I got it, I honked my horn, he glanced my way he look frustrated. I remember Seth telling Adam that Jake told him he always gets interrupted every time he tried to kiss her. I started to tap the top of my wrist as if to say hurry up look at the time. He glanced back a Bella, he continued to inch towards her, but I felt a big relief when she placed her fingers on his lips, she slowly took a few steps back. I saw her lips move but I could tell what she was saying, Jake placed his hand over the back of his head he turned around and walked to the car, he got in and slammed the door.
“Get me out of here…….NOW!” He scared me when he was upset. I didn’t think twice, I turned on my car; I looked at Bella as I pulled off.
“Want to talk about it?” I asked him. But he just stared out the window with his knuckles against his chin. I hit a red light, the car was quite. I don’t listen to rap but I knew that Jake loved the song smile by 50 cent and Lloyd Banks; I surprised him when I began to rap it with the song.

I tapped the bottom of his chin, he smiled at me, he began to rap along with me. People in the next car looked at us as if we was crazy, we were waving around are hands like we were in a concert. The car behind me honked the horn when the light turned green, we both started laughing, as I made my way through the intersection.
“Thanks Keila”
“No problem, I don’t like to see you down” from the corner of my eye I could see him staring at me as he rested his head on the head rest. I began to blush again. So I tried to start a convocation so that I would stop blushing.
“Are you ready to tell me what happened back there?” I notice that he took his eyes off me.
“She is marring Edward” he glanced out the window as he said it, it look to me as if he didn’t want me to see him cry. I placed my hand on his lap.
“Hey, don’t worry; I’m pretty sure there is someone else out there for you.”
“I don’t know, Keila, she……..she……she just does something to me.”
