On August 26, the Korean Business Research Institute published their monthly results for brand reputation rankings among singers, both male and female.

The institute analyzed 116,221,875 sources of data from July 25 to August 26 in the categories of participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness.

Wanna One topped this month’s brand reputation rankings with a total score of 17,658,317. BTS followed up in second place with a total score of 6,915,325, while Red Velvet came in third place with a score of 6,238,027.

Although they’re known to be very close friends, netizens were shocked to discover truly how similar-looking solo singer IU and miss A‘s Suzy really are.

Netizens noticed that when they flipped a photo of Suzy upside-down, the photo looks very similar to IU. To disprove arguments that the theory only applied to one photo, one netizen created a post showing how two randomly selected photos of Suzy can end up looking like IU once flipped upside-down. The post has garnered a lot of attention, with many netizens agreeing that the odd phenomenon is indeed real.

IU's recent 'Zeze' controversy became much bigger than initially expected, with hate comments and criticism coming left and right. But IU is not going to standby and do nothing about it.

According to a report, IU took her case to Seoul's Gangnam police station back on November 17 KST. She sent in a written accusation against the netizens who wrote hate comments towards her.
