The December 16 airing of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' was definitely entertaining, but also quite controversial. Netizens are furious over a specific segment that the show aired.
The segment in question is 'One Night's Strange Stories' which featured photos of female celebrities, mostly idols, where their bodies were shown to be strangely proportioned.
The first few photos look to be edited photos. These include Wonder Girls' Sohee's legs being separate from the rest of her body, actress Han Ga In with three arms, and Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon with an extremely long arm.
But what netizens are angry about are how Girls' Generation's YoonA and IU were portrayed. The two were shown in photos where their bodies seemed strangely positioned.
YoonA's magazine cover page showed her with her neck turned to the side, and IU's photo showed her leaning forward with her arms on her waist. The reporter stated that both girls looked like their necks were twisted.
The reporter stated, "This is Girls' Generation YoonA's magazine cover photo. But her neck is twisted. It looks like a photo where YoonA's neck is twisted and when you turn her body it looks more natural. When you look at both the original photo and the CG photo, which looks more natural?"
A different reporter stated, "IU has also turned around. If you turn her head to the opposite side, now it looks more comfortable. What happened here? It's really strange."
Korean fans are outraged, commenting that this is a case of sexual harassment. They mention that saying a woman's physical body is the same from the front and back is a type of sexual harassment.
On 'One Night of TV Entertainment's comment page, netizens are demanding for an apology. The show's reps have not given an official statement yet.

IU puts the "A" in "Adorable." We already know she has a baby-face, but with a beanie, she goes back in time and returns as her 15-year-old self. Her taste in beanies is just as adorable, ranging from the monster-ear beanie (far right) to the beanie with a huge fluff ball placed on top.

KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' had a Jeju Acoustic Festival (JAF) special on September 13, featuring singers John Park and IU, who saw each other again for the first time in a long time!
IU said, "I like acoustic music with its simple composition. I think there's a high level of concentration," and performed an acoustic song with her soothing vocals. When asked if there was anything that came to mind in relation to Jeju Island, IU said, "I like Jeju Island's hallabong the best (a type of clementine). Its sweet taste is the best."
This cued John Park to appear holding a Jeju Island hallabong. He said, "It has been a while since I saw IU since a guest appearance at a concert. Today, she gives off a mature and womanly feel."

IU went for a simple girl-next-door look. She paired the blouse with peach colored shorts and a bright color block shoulder bag. She opted for natural make-up and "apple hair" with loose curls. Na-Eun went in a different direction when styling the blouse. She wore the piece with a white high-waist flared skirt with black polka dots. She, too, went for a natural look with light make-up and loose curls.
IU's outfit was perfect for her role as Soon Shin. However, I think Na-Eun really shined in this outfit. I love that she ran away with the feminine look. The skirt perfectly balances out the attention from the bare shoulders and ruffled sleeves on the blouse.
But in the end both ladies looked beautiful!
