It was announced that IU was confirmed to maintain her relationship with the current management, LOEN Entertainment (CEO Shin Won-su).

On June 3, a representative of LOEN Entertainment shared, “We have reached an agreement to renew a contract with IU before the termination in September this year.” IU had stayed with the agency for the past 7 years.

The solo artist and the agency are said to have discussed the renewal since April. As a result, they decided to maintain the relationship for another 3 years, and the loyal singer and actress chose not to receive any additional deposit regarding the new contract.

IU who debuted in 2008, is the first singer from LOEN Entertainment.

With her lovely looks and sweet vocals as well as excellent songwriting technique, she has become one of the most renowned singer song-writers in Korea. In addition, she also expanded her career into acting. IU is currently appearing on KBS’s “The Producers” as Ice Princess Cindy.

LOEN Entertainment promised to provide full support to IU and her promotions in the future.

The management said they will make up a special team for the artist from LOEN TREE, a label of LOEN Entertainment.

“We are looking forward to strengthening the partnership with IU for the next three years. We will support her all the way to help her become a global artist,” said LOEN Entertainment.
