ItsukixHaruhi Article: a winter afternoon

{Haruhi's view}
Today was a calm day for the Brigade. Sadly, it was raining. Itsuki and Kyon were teaching me how to play poker, Mikuru was sitting by me watching, and Yuki was reading. As usual.
Kyon flipped a poker chip right into my face.
"Whoops..." He said.
I sighed and shook my head.
"So disrespectful." I mumbled.
"Hey, I'm not the one who goes around and puts other people's hands on other people's 'personal areas'" He laughed.
I glared at him.
"Well, it was the only way I could think of to get that damn computer!" I sniffed.
"We didn't even need one. I'm the only one who uses it anyway." Kyon said matter-of-factly.
I sighed. Whatever. We needed something to fill up the empty space on the desk.
"Well," Itsuki started, "I heard there's going to be a winter festival coming up in a couple days. It sounds like a nice event to attend..."
Mikuru eyes lit up. "I remember going to the winter festival when I was a little girl! It was so much fun!" She sang.
Itsuki laughed. "I've heard."
I nodded. "We should go, it's something to do beside laying around here!"
"But I like laying around..." Kyon mumbled.
I rolled my eyes. "I think we all know that Kyon. You need some activity in your life!" I sung as I flipped the poker chip back at him.

{Itsuki's view}
After we all left the clubroom, I found Miss Asahina waiting for me in the hall.
"So, you and Suzumiya-San made up right?" She smiled.
I nodded. "Thanks to you. I forgot to thank you, so thanks." I smiled back at her.
"I'm glad I could help. We wouldn't want an un-pleased Suzumiya-san would we?"
I sighed. "Not at all."

On my way home, I found Miss Suzumiya walking ahead of me again.
I jogged to catch up with her again.
She turned around and saw me, she smiled.
She hugged me tight then sighed.
"Is something the matter?" I asked as I stroked her hair.
"Today was so boring... I hate winter time."
I laughed. "It'll get better. Espically when it starts to snow," I smiled.
She nodded. "I guess you're right," She smiled with me.
I kissed her cheek. "And you'll have fun at the festival, I promise."
"It sounds fun enough," She laughed. "I'm usually entertained easily..."
"I've noticed."
She looked at the ground.
I tickled her stomach and she instantly burst into laughter.
"Stop it!" She laughed.
I stopped tickling her when she told me she couldn't breathe, then I kissed her tenderly.
She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me back.
I pulled away, gasping for air a little while later.
"Well, I should get going... I'd hate to leave you but I'm supposed to help a friend with a project." I sighed.
"Alright, I'll see you tomorow, Itsuki." She smiled.
I kissed her hand then jogged off to my house. Ready to start a new day.

Haruhi looked up in astonishment as Itsuki came to the stage. He looked more astonishing than he had ever seen: He had a brown tuxedo on and held a bouquet of flowers.
"He's so...beautiful.." She mumbled.
"What was that, Miss Suzumiya?" Mikuru asked.
"O-oh, nothing.."
Haruhi looked away. She really wanted to look at Itsuki again. She looked on the stage one more time as Itsuki took the microphone and started to sing.

Haruhi bolted into the clubroom.
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" She sung.
Today was the day the Students of North High had finally come back their winter break.
Kyon sat with his head on the table, looking espicially bored and annoyed today. Good thing school was almost over. Haruhi bounced over to where the Brigade sat.
"Since today's the start of the New Year, I felt like organizing an activity!" Haruhi slapped down a stack of paper onto the table.

Haruhi woke up with a start, a smile on her face. It was the last day of freshman year! She slippedon her uniform and grabbed her bag.

"Hey, Mikuru! I've got a new costume for ya!" Haruhi held up a pink fairy costume. Kyon rose to defend Mikuru, but Lauren pushed him down. "At least take a break from abusing Miss Asahina for once! Haruhi scratched her head, looking out at the window. She wasn't in a melancholic state, she was smiling, rather dreamily. When people called her name, she just smiled wider and mumbled to herself.

She was thinking about someone.
And his name was Itsuki Koizumi.

She and Itsuki's relationship had taken a turn. They had grown closer, and slowly Haruhi fell for him. At first she shrugged it off, and tried to avoid him. But this just made her fall harder for him.

"Bam! That's what you get for making fun of my 'momma'!" she said sternly.
"OWCH! DAMMIT LAUREN, THAT'S HOT!" Kyon screeched.
"No der! That's why I did it dumbass!" Lauren looked at me. "Oh, hi Haruhi!" She skipped over to me.
"Hey," I said as I set my bag down.
"Well, hey. Remember how you said I owed you for the mud puddle thinggie? Well yeah. I'm paying you back by setting up a spa date for you and Itsuki!" Lauren sung.

I flopped down on my bed, after a long day of school. I sighed and looked up at the ceiling. Coming home and doing nothing was my favorite part of the day.
bzzzz.... bzzzz... I looked at my phone which was now buzzing to the end of my nightstand. I grabbed it just befor it fell off. I looked at the caller I.D.;

"Jesus Christ!" I groaned as I opened the phone.

Last night was terrible. I'd puked at least four times. When I woke up this morning my eyes were watering and my nose was plugged. I walked slowly over to the mirror and I even looked terrible. I coughed and flopped back down on the bed. There's no way I'm going to school today.

She looked over at Itsuki, who was trying to fix the stereo, along with Yoh. "What's going on?" She asked, walking over to where they were. "The stereo's broken, and the dance starts in 5 minutes!" Yoh complained as Itsuki nodded. "Hmm..I heard at this dance, where the stereo was broken, the principal had the entire school use their iPods for music. It was pretty fun, according to a friend of mine who goes to the school."...

Haruhi found herself feeling angry when filming was done. She didn't cry like usual. She was angry at not Mikuru, but Itsuki. He associated with Mikuru, but treated it like it was nothing. Didn't he have a girlfriend who would be offended when he saw him with her?

The filming for The Adventures of Mikuru Asahina was underway.

Haruhi had though from the start, with her big breats and cute appearance, Mikuru Asahina was the perfect mascot. And Itsuki Koizumi filled the role of the mysterious transfer student. So it would be an even better idea to pair them together.
