they were supposed to show bloody gir in the episode GIR goes crazy and stuff, but nickelodeon prohibited it for its blood and gore. Jhonen vasquez (sp?) inserted the image in anyways, bloody gir was first shown in the episode mortos da soulstealer. Bloody gir didnt get the show canceled. In this image you can see bloody gir.
whoever told you that it was canceled because of bloody gir they arent right. it was canceled because it had too much violence in it and it gave kids nightmares, because it was too dark for the age groups it was ment to atract. 8 to 10 year olds. but it atracted teens not little kids. i love the show and i cant find it on t.v. anywhere. But it was canceled because it has too much violence.

You are right. I was 13 when the show permiered and I was in love from day 1. I was heartbroken when it was cancelled. Wonder if that rumor of the show coming back is true.

I am going to have to check those episodes. Bloody Gir looks kind of scary.
Bloddy gir was not the reason for Invader Zim's cancelation. It was cancelled for low ratings which I think is a COMPLETE LIE. So if I were in charge of production I would've said F*** YOU to Nickelodeon and went to a different channel.
