It was a breezey spring day, the whole group enjoying thier peace while Naraku was defeated. Miroku and Sango sat side by side looking at eacother, smiling and blushing for Miroku proposed to Sango not too long ago. Shippo and Kirara never grew that kind of a relationship, they were best friends and they decided to leave the couples alone for awhile going for a joy ride. And as for Kagome and Inuyasha they were sitting on a high branch on a tall old oak tree just leaning on eachother.
"Inuyasha, what do I mean to you?" Kagome asked closing her eyes slightly blushing. Inuyasha started to turn cherry red at the thought of her question "Er- um well um Kagome, you are a-an important p-person to me." "Anything else?" She bugged. He had no clue what to say he was inlove with her but couldn't confess the right way "Well what do I m-ean t-t-to you?" he asked hesatintly. "Well..." Kagome began to explain but was interuppted as Koga twirled by thier tree. "Hey Kagome come down her away from that muttface I got a present for you. :Damn that Koga:Inuyasha thought.
Kagome and Inuyasha were standing by Koga as his comrades finally caught up to him "KOGA!" they both said as they collapsed of running too much. Koga didn't pay any mind to them "So Kagome I got you a present." He said as he gave her a finely made chained necklace with a beuatiful blue seashell at the end and put it on her neck. "Koga it's gourgeus, thankyou so much." She joyed while hugging him. Koga was about to explode with joy hugging Kagome, on the other hand Inuyasha was about to pounce on Koga but didn't want to upset Kagome so he walked away.
Later that night~
"Inuyasha" Kagome called, his ears perked up at the sound of her sweet child like voice. "Kagome, up here." Said while looking down at her then jumping right infront of her, "What are the others doing?" he asked. "Well" she started to explain "Miroku and Sango are um well uh you know trying to make a family" said blushing furiously "and shippo is asleep with kirara."
Inuyasha nodded and told Kagome "You mean alot to me." "Huh?" Kagome blurted confused. "You asked me what you meant to me and well um you mean to me like a uh how do say this...." Inuyasha couldn't continue he was embarrased. "Inuyasha" Kagome blushed "Well let me explain then you mean to me what a star means to the sky, the sky adores the star and thanks it for being there and lighting it up, if it weren't for that star that sky would be dark sad and lonely." "Kagome" Inuyasha spoke. "Inuyasha........I love you." Kagome told him. Inuyasha's eyes shot wide open, he finally heard the words he's been yearning to hear for awhile, then he suddenly stepped closer to Kagome grabbed her shoulders and looked her straight in the eyes and blurted out "Kagome I'm inlove with you and you mean everything to mean you are like a peddle to a stem that stem would be so plain and hated by others and have no friends, but the peddles change the looks and the feeling to the stem and everyone adores it, I'm that stem and would die with you!" as that was said he leaned in and kissed Kagome with every drop of passion he had to offer. Kagome in shock closed her eyes and shed a few tears thinking :Inuyasha thank you so much:

"Wahh" Sango started to rock her little baby that she and Miroku made together. Her, Miroku,Kohaku,Kirara, and Shippo were living together at Sango's and Kohaku's rebuilt village. They were all happy together with thier new lives but missed Inuyasha and Kagome not knowing what they were doing now.... "Ah...this hot spring feels so good." Kagome said as she was breating the intoxicating smell of the spring mixed with the pine scented woods."Hey Kagome I'm coming."Inuyasha informed intering in with a towel on looking at Kagome with her towel on.:Man why do we still have to wear towels with eachother when we have been married fro a week!: "Inuyasha we have been married for only one week so your not getting to peek already" Kagome instinctively told him.
