Inuyasha Question

This might be sort of a morbid question, but say when Inuyasha finally does...pass on, where would he go spiritually? Since he's part demon, would he go to Hell? If so, what does that mean for his and Kagome's relationship?

Personally I don't think it would or should have any impact on their relationship, if anything it should bring them closer together. If it is true that Inuyasha will go to hell because he is part demon then Kagome should savor him while she can, because it’s all the time she'll have with him. In Hell lovers can't be together because that isn’t what hell is about, it's about suffering and you can only be with your loved ones in Heaven. Myself I don't believe demons are bound to Hell since there are both good and bad demons just as there are good and bad humans, the good ones go to heaven while the bad ones go to hell, it's plain and simple.

The mount Hakurei example of demons being unable to enter holy ground to me was just nonsense considering the monk involved that erected the barrier to keep all evil out wasn't a real saint and was suffering internally after having been buried alive while desiring to live. His spirit couldn't become Buda because of his sadness, now I find it very VERY hard to swallow that his barrier was truly a holy one where the ingredients to erect a holy barrier aren't there. That man's soul was suffering in a personal hell that Naraku was able to easily take advantage of so I saw that aspect of the story as a major flaw. The monk's might may have had the will to keep other out, but the holy aspect I believe was just inserted for the story's sake, drama and action but otherwise makes no logical sense. But then again I don't think Rumiko Takahash gave a damn^^ she did things the way she wanted to and that is that. So by canon law of the Inuyasha universe demons can't enter holy ground meaning they are unable to pass in to Heaven, how sad :(

I just have one thing to say about this, as far as the relationship between Inuyasha and Kagome goes, and it is this. Yes they can have a relationship and they better damn well make it a good one, and to be cautious or use protection because regardless of how well they raise their kids should they have any the odds are being part demon just means that they will being going to hell to. Canon Law prescribes it. Basically it's dictated *angry face* Inuyasha and Kagome's children would go to hell just like their father, now how nice is that.
