Nah i think Endou (Mark Evens) is the pride of Inazuma Eleven i think he's the only person deserve this rank, well if he's not well then the captain should be Sharp axel is not up to of being a captain he's a good striker but he doesn't got what it takes to be a leader (not in his young age ofcourse)

Goenji was more of a forward and in terms of leadership charisma, Endou and Kidou are more qualified.

But what attracts my attention is that Goenji was captain in his freshman year at Kidokawa Seishuu. It'll be interesting to see how a forward like him lead a team.
