There's something sweet and appealing in Marshall's unrequited love for Mary. She's already got Raph, and she's damned lucky to have him. After the way her family treated him, he could have dumped her easily; but he loves her and he saved her sister when Mary didn't even know what to do -- Raph's a class act. Being a marshal, Marshall could never have done what Raph did. He would definitely admire the gesture, but he's a by-the-book kinda guy. Let him love her from afar and know that he just doesn't quite have what it takes to win her. Besides, they're partners, and relationships between partners rarely turn out well -- they also tend to ruin good tv shows.
Let me just say I completely agree with the above comment 100%
All I want to add is that Mary totally doesn't deserve Raph but he loves her anyway so she needs to marry him quick before he comes to his senses and runs for the border! :)
Yeppers, I'm a shipper addict and I'm not ashamed of that fact! lol personally I love Raph, I'm not going to say that I don't and him and Mary are totally cute together...but I honestly see something between him and Brandi (nothing that has been acted on no, but especially after tonight's episode, it seems to me that there are feelings there).
Marhall and Mary are completely opposite really, but they are great friends, and one day I hope that they will get together, because they are perfect, and if I wasn't a huge shipper before, tonight's episode definately changed that fact! I'm completely on board the train...never getting off! ;)
