Oh...!
Oh...!
Looking at the lonely telegram, I crept into your room
Listen to the breathing voices of the ones around the tomb
The radio is playing, but I can't hear them sing
The people are explaining, but they don't know a thing
Give me a sign, give me a sign
I wanna die tonight

They say that London sounds like a city of red
All the prisoners wait for their turn to be dead
Oh You don't love me
You don't love me like you say you do

I can take a picture, you can be a picture
Stitched into my faded black
I can take you home, or you can be a home
We'll never look on back
The radio is playing, but I can't hear...

When he first started working with Imagine Dragons, music producer Alex da Kid was looking for some inspiration for the Broadway musical, "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."

"I thought they would be great to help me come up with ideas for U2," the Grammy-nominated English producer said.

There was just one problem: The demos they recorded were too good.

So instead of using the alternative band to collaborate on the score by Bono and The Edge, Alex da Kid - the creator of Eminem and Rihanna's colossal hit "Love the Way You Lie" - immediately signed the Las Vegas-based foursome to his label imprint...

Wayne Sermon, Lead Guitar

Wayne can SHRED. It may be blasphemous to detract from this biography by going beyond this undeniable fact. Fact: his gut-wrenching, pants-wetting solos have been known to move audience members to tears.

Wayne has been the lead guitarist for Imagine Dragons since 2009, and is so far the only lead guitarist the band has ever had.

Lead singer Dan, a Las Vegas native, met guitarist Wayne in 2008 in Utah, where Dan was attending school and Wayne was living after graduating from Berklee School of Music. After going through various lineups, the band was established in Las Vegas with Dan and Wayne joining Ben McKee, Andrew Tolman, and Brittany Tolman.

The band lived together in Nevada whilst they created and released their first three EP's.

It's time to celebrate for alt-rockers Imagine Dragons, as their debut album has just gone platinum (1 million copies sold) in the U.S.

Night Visions was released in September 2012 and has since spent 40 weeks on the Billboard album chart, with a current hold on the No. 7 spot.

The album has blown up the singles charts as well, with It's Time and Radioactive both carving out space in the top 40. The popular tunes gained recognition in spots for teen flick The Perks of Being a Wallflower last fall and the new ad campaign for Beats By Dre Powerbeats headphones starring LeBron James, respectively....

Imagine Dragons has received attention across the U.S. from industry professionals and fans alike, continuously growing their loyal fan base. Their most recent West Coast tour with The Parlotones was highly successful, with sold-out shows along the West Coast ending with a final packed performance at L.A.'s The Viper Room.

This past spring, the band was invited to perform at Bergenfest in Norway, expanding their fan base outside of the U.S. Fans can catch Imagine Dragons on August 20 at The Roxy in Los Angeles as they perform as part of the Sunset Strip Music Festival. Imagine Dragons are currently...

"It's the one thing, as artists, that we get to keep to ourselves," Imagine Dragons' front man Dan Reynolds said when asked the meaning of the band's name. Yep, with apologies to fan boys all over the world and quite possibly Middle Earth, the buzzworthy Las Vegas alt-rock group didn't name themselves over an undying love of Game of Thrones, Dungeons & Dragons, or anything medieval or fantasy filled.

"We were sitting down and came up with a phrase that we felt particularly connected to, but we didn't want to call it that. It just didn't flow right," Reynolds explained in an April 25 interview....

Hey Mr. cage man let me get a fresh breath
Cherry bomb head strong I could fake my own death
Hey Mr. fate man shuffle me a ninth life
I’ve been wrong, go long
throwing me a sharp right
It’s not a picture perfect life
Not what I had in mind
Let me write my own line

I’ve got this place
That I’ve filled with empty space
Oh I’m trying not to face what I’ve done
My hopeless opus
I’m in this race and I’m hoping just to place
Oh I’m trying not to face what’s become of me
My hopeless opus

Hey Mr. safe man hustle me an okay
I could slide take a dive take it for the home team
Hey Mr. postman slip...

Ever since I could remember,
Everything inside of me,
Just wanted to fit in (oh oh oh oh)
I was never one for pretenders,
Everything I tried to be,
Just wouldn't settle in (oh oh oh oh)

If I told you what I was,
Would you turn your back on me?
And if I seem dangerous,
Would you be scared?
I get the feeling just because,
Everything I touch isn't dark enough
If this problem lies in me

I'm only a man with a chamber who's got me,
I'm taking a stand to escape what's inside me.
A monster, a monster,
I've turned into a monster,
A monster, a monster,
And it keeps getting stronger.

Can I clear my conscience,
If I'm different...

magine Dragons -- a band that is gaining considerable visibility these days thanks its hit singles, "It's Time" and "Radioactive" -- may be a fairly new presence on the national music scene to many listeners, but that is not the case in Utah County.

The band got its start in Utah County when lead singer Dan Reynolds, a BYU student, joined forces with guitarist Wayne Sermon of American Fork. The group eventually relocated its home base to Las Vegas, Reynolds' home town, but has never turned its back on its Utah roots.

The band finally has been blowing up nationally, and returns to Utah County...
