I love Ian, but I don't think that he really fits Christian.
I didn't read the book, but I know the plot very well. The author is a genius.

Ian knows how to play action boys that doesn't give a second thought. Like Boone or Damon.
Not really Christian.

Christian is the guy that thinks about the next move. That wants everything to be perfect.
And after I discovered the nearly end of the book, I totally thing that it wouldn't fit.
I don't see Ian raping a girl.(even if she asked it)

I agree with you Lavinyaa. I don't think Ian really fits playing the hot guy who works in a business company. He fits more as the bad boy kind of person. Hes a great actor and all, but he just doesn't fit as Christian. personally would prefer Matt Bomer, but in the end, its all up to the writers and the director.

That's why it's called "Acting", people! Besides Ian's got the hot looks, alpha male side, charisma and intensity that draws you to him! I think he'd be perfect for the part of Christian! I don't think Matt Bomer can pull off the dominant look, acting or not, he just doesn't have the face for a bad boy"!

When you think Christian Grey, you think hot guy, but you also think jungle cat. Matt Bomer, in my opinion, can't be a jungle cat. He can't stalk his prey, wait for the kill, attack with grace. Ian can do all of those and he'd be an awesome Christian, but I don't want him to stoop so low. Because Grey is more creepy than hot.

read the book guys, Ian is almost perfect for Christian Grey the only thing that would be disturbing are the sexy scenes

Ian Somerhalder would be the best choice! Ian is a perfect fit for Christian Grey. If i will judge i think E.L James is talking about Ian Somerhalder. Hahaha He has the looks, the body and most of all his CROOKED SMILE. OMG i think if Ian would be Christian, I would die a thousand deaths because of happiness :D
