I never really planned reading Hush Hush. In bookstores, I just passed by the books, seeing Hush Hush in a display. I know its about Fallen Angels but the cover didn't buy me. I didn't study it too well...until I read it.
I borrowed the book from my classmate who's an ultimate bookworm. I started reading it since she handed it to me. I finished it just today. =)
For me, Patch was bad-ass, sense of humor, sweet and caring. I liked the way he did to Nora when they were making tacos in the kitchen then she was sat up on the counter and Patch started kissing her jaw. Also another one especially the thing he wanted most is to become human didn't grant. He sacrificed his wish just to save Nora because he already loved her. And that's so romantic and that's what you call "LOVE". The way he asked this to Nora "Do you sleep naked?" my expression was like "ohmygod"...."do u really have to ask her that?" LOL.
Patch is really confident. He was being honest with Coach McConaugty the way he described Norah. Intelligent, Attractive and Vulnerable.
On this quote:
“You smell good, too,” said Patch.
“It’s called a shower.” I was staring straight ahead. When he didn’t answer, I turned sideways. “Soap. Shampoo. Hot water.”
“Naked. I know the drill.”
When Patch said, "Naked" I laughed! I really liked him as his character. =)
When they were in the motel, unexpectedly in the motel. Nora said she called on Patch after she showered, she said "Blow out the candle." Cuz she was wearing underwear and camisole. And I think she doesn't want Patch to see her on it. So she went out of the door in total darkness. She also described that Patch was shirtless. Do you know my expression to that part is? I said "OHMYGOD!!! Ayan na (its coming)." But it didn't happen as I expected.
Also when Nora disguised herself as a "sexy" woman. I laughed, 'cause she was wearing this wig and pink fishnet stockings. Then in the comfort room she startled seeing Patch, seeing her wearing that kind of outfit.
For me, Vee was a bit irritating. Sometimes she plans without telling Nora, says random stuff.
In real life, I imagined Nora as Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries, Degrassi) and Patch as Paul Wesley or Drew Roy.
One of my fave parts was Patch telling Nora, he's her guardian angel. <3
I liked the ending of the book, it was fantastic. Patch getting into a new job as an alarm system service boy. I jumped. Unexpected.
The ending, was 'I curled my hands into his hair, pulling him closer. "More"'
Can't wait to read Crescendo.
Goodnight!
