He had asked Lisa to come to his house. He wanted to be able to talk to her in private and not be bothered by the rest of the world. At exactly 8 pm he heard the bell ring. He was a little nervous, but kept telling himself it would just be a nice dinner between friends. He opened the door and gasped when he saw Lisa standing in front of him in the most beautiful dress he’d ever seen. It was a simple dark blue dress that ended just above her knees, the top was tight while the skirt was like one of a ballerina. ‘Hey…’, she said softly. ‘Hey’, he replied and pulled her into a hug. They walked to the living room in silence, both not knowing what to say.
‘Do you… want a drink, or something?’, he asked. She smiled, ‘I’d like that.’ He nodded, ‘Okay then I’ll just go and get one for you…’ The tension could be felt between them. He was already in the kitchen when he realized he forgot to ask what exactly she wanted to drink. He walked back and bumped into her in the hallway. ‘O sorry! I was just coming to ask you what exactly you wanted to drink…’, he apologized. She smiled, ‘I was just coming to the kitchen to tell you!’ They walked to the kitchen together and her smile got wider as she saw what he was cooking for her. ‘You were not supposed to see that already, you know.’, he teased, ‘Now what do you want to drink?’ ‘Do you have any orange juice?’, she asked. ‘Yes, I have! It’s just that it’s still inside the oranges…’, he said smiling. She giggled, ‘That’s okay with me! Just give me a straw and I’ll suck the juice right out of them!’ Hugh’s smile brightened they were back to their old selves, laughing and having fun together.
The dinner was great. They talked about work, told each other funny stories and laughed a lot. It was 40 minutes after dessert that Hugh realized they were still sitting at the dining table. The night was so perfect. Good food and drinks, nice music and candles and of course amazing company. He was suddenly afraid that she would go away. He didn’t want her to go yet and felt like he had to do something to keep her with him.
He turned the volume from the stereo up a little and kneeled in front of Lisa. ‘May I have this dance, please?’, he asked. Lisa could see the sparks in his bright blue eyes and was in awe by the overwhelming sweetness of this man. She blushed, smiled brightly and laid her hand in his. He loosely wrapped his arms around her waist stared into her eyes and swayed a little to the music. She needed to be closer to him and wrapped her arms around his neck while laying her head down on his shoulder. He tightened his arms around her and brought his head down in her neck. He smelled her hair and got so lost in the moment that he started to kiss her neck. She whimpered softly and started to roam her hands trough his very short hair. After a few seconds Hugh pulled back and blushed, ‘Sorry…’
Lisa didn’t want him to be sorry, she wanted him to want this as much as she did. Sometimes she could see the love in his eyes, but then after a few seconds he would hide it again. She knew this might be the only real chance they had and she couldn’t let it pass her by. She stroke his cheek and stared into his eyes while moving her mouth closer to his. He didn’t pull back, but he didn’t move forward either, he just didn’t move at all. Their lips met and his eyes fluttered shut, her lips were so soft and warm. He felt her tongue brush over his lips and opened his mouth a little. Their tongues touched and they started to explore each other mouths. He was just starting to lose himself when Lisa pulled back.
She looked at Hugh questioningly. He understood, she made her move, now it was his time to show her how he felt. Their lips met again and Hugh immediately deepened the kiss. He felt how his love for her was taking control of him. He had denied it for too long, let the emotions build up inside him and now he couldn’t keep them inside anymore. He loved her, he wanted nothing more than to make her happy, to make her his. He lifted her up in his arms and carried her to his bedroom. She smiled against his lips then kissed him more passionately. They made love that night and he felt like he had finally found the happiness he had been searching for, for half of a century.
The next morning they had to try and shoot the sexscene between House and Cuddy again. Hugh didn’t feel nervous anymore, he was happy. He couldn’t wait to feel her lips again to feel her arms around his neck again. From the second they started kissing on the set everyone watched the scene in front of them that was taking their breaths away. Hugh and Lisa made out with raw passion and in the end he even lifted her up and carried her to House’s bedroom. The scene was perfect.
He laid her down on the bed and she pulled him on top of her. There were no cameras in here and the scene was over, but for them everything had just started. ‘I love you, Lise.’, he whispered. ‘I love you too.’ He kissed her again and they let their tongues battle until they heard someone call their names. They both sighed, ‘Tonight at my place?’, she asked. He nodded and quickly kissed the lips of the woman that he now knew was the love of his life.

This is a ridiculously short drabble post that I wrote like, five minutes before this because I am hungry and all I had all day was Pepsi. It could be taken as either Huddy or Huli, or even both, lol.

She knows they shouldn't.
There were too many consequences; the backlash would be cruel and harsh, and she's not sure if they could live through it.
Too much was at stake; too many people hurt. What was to become of their careers and relationships?
But then he kisses her, and she forgets.
Just for a little while.
"I love you," She feels him whisper it against her lips, and she knows then that she doesn't care anymore.
He is all she needs.
