salemslot Definitely not a behind-the-scene moment. Again on the FOX site, a quote from the recap(?) of the epi: House's phone vibrates. He takes the call in the bathroom so Cuddy won't hear. It's Chase: the assistant has called the Department of Public Health to report the hospital's lack of a neurosurgeon. "When DPH shows up, they're going to shut down our E.R. This can't be fixed. It is what it is, House." House remains unconcerned. Cuddy's anxiety wins out, and she tells House that she's going to get changed and go to work. He can't persuade her to stay, but mysteriously a fuse has gone missing from her car. "Are you afraid this will end as soon as I walk out that door?," she asks. "Are you afraid everything will go wrong if you stay?," House asks. He hands over the fuse, and Cuddy says she'll stay. Reading this, I now understand why the episode felt disconnected.

bluehue Interesting details @salemslot. Tho a tad confrontational..I do really like the line "Are you afraid....etc., but of course they couldn't use that b/c TPTB decided to keep Huddy held up at 221B...and let the "world" so to speak interupt them..and see what that fact did to their togetherness...that seemed to be the focus. I'm kinda glad they didn't use the oft used nearly cliche "yanking of car fuse mystery." I liked that Huddytime was disconnected from the usual...but I guess that felt disconnecting to some fans. P.S. I also thought it fun..that we & House knew something that Cuddy didn't...which made us both wonder/worry IF she would learn of the PPTH problem..but it was a "phew!" thing...as it resolved without her..no harm done.

HLforever Ughh I want those unaired scenes!! Checked the link that @salemslot posted, and realized we didn't get the one where House leans sexily in the doorway either...

anonymously do you think there's a possibility those scense would be on the DVD version?? or at least included as deleted scenes. Maybe FOX had to cut them because of commercials. my icon, that scene wasn't in the ep either...
