Earlier that day, Wilson had told him to talk to Cuddy. He said in his glib tone,"You've got an itch that needs to be scratched. Well, lucky for you she's a doctor."
House wished he had never told his friend about the makeout session in Cuddy's home and the almost sex that occured. But who was he really kidding? He had to get this off his chest. Ever since that night he and Cuddy had been keeping distance from one another which was unrealistic, given the circumstances. She was his boss and he usually had to go to her for approval for his insane medical procedures. So, after hours of replaying that night in his mind and hardly sleeping, he decided to pick up the phone and call her. They would have this out. They would finally talk this out and see...
Knock. Knock. Knock.
House was taken from his thoughts as he heard someone at his front door. Letting out an annoyed groan, he put down the phone receiver, grabbed his cane, and walked toward the door. Looking in his peep hole, his eyes opened in surprise to find Cuddy standing there. Taking a deep breath he opened the door.
"I usually order blondes."
Rolling her eyes she didn't even make a retort.
"I need to talk to you."
"You couldn't have called?"
Smiling she said,"This way I get to see what you're wearing."
"Yeah, sweat pants and a coffee stained Dylan shirt are always a turn on for the ladies," he said as he opened the door wider for her to enter.
She entered closing the door behind her. He went to sit back on the couch. She sat down beside him.
"Look, House..."
"I know what you're gonna say. First, you'll say how you value me as a friend, colleague, and employee. Then you'll say that whatever happened that night was only the result of your highly vulnerable state and that any repeat of that kiss would seriously ruin our entire relationship. Ergo you would find it difficult to be my boss, and I'd find it difficult to be your employee. We'd hate each other, and our work would become affected. So, even though that kiss was amazingly hot and the subsequent makeout session that followed was even hotter, there is no way we should ever do it again. That's pretty much the gist of it, but then I'm paraphrasing," he said as he leaned into the couch pillow.
A number of emotions flitted across her face. He could see her annoyance, confusion, anger, and then something else...
"Well, I was going to say some of those things," she finally said.
"But I was also going to say that even though it's probably crazy, and completely unprofessional...I just can't pretend that it didn't matter because it did," she said as she placed a shaky hand on top of his.
He looked down at her small hand against his larger rougher one. He gazed up at her and saw the fear of rejection on her face. She wanted him to say he felt the same.
House put his free hand against her cheek. She closed her eyes and let out a breath. She then slowly opened her eyes again.
"It mattered to me too," he said as he brought his lips overtop of hers.

This is my Huddy poem...I dont really like my last stanza... :) but oh well...if you are true huddy fans, you'll understand what im talking about...
HUDDY POEM
Blue on blue,
Sea on sky.
They're not together,
I wonder why.
Short on tall,
Opposites attract.
They love each other,
And that is fact.
Both so arrogant,
Yet, both so cute.
No wonder their relationship,
Is hard to fluke.
Gregory House,
and Lisa Cuddy.
So perfect together,
They make Huddy...
pretty gay... :P
