This is my first time writing an article, but I just cannot contain my emotions about this Huddy finale! So I just have to get this out.

I want to go through the final scene little by little, looking at the biggest theme that strikes me in it- honesty. Honesty from House (which is a huge change) and also honesty from Cuddy (finally!).

Let’s start with House coming back to his old bathroom (parallel with season 5 finale!!!) and ripping the mirror off of the wall to get his stash of vicodin. In his mind, he has honestly run out of options- he truly thinks he has nowhere better to turn than back to drugs and numbing his emotions away. He’s beyond frustrated that all his attempts to do good for other people have only brought bad back to him. And he is ready to give up.

But then, before House has a chance to perform his classic pill popping technique… enter savior Cuddy (parallel with season 5 finale again!). House’s response is anything but sweet because he is assuming that she is still with Lucas and pushing him away like she had been the entire day.

“You gonna leap across the room and grab them out of my hand?”
“No. It’s your choice if you wanna go back on drugs.”
“Ok. Just so you know I’m finding it hard to see the downside.”

In these first lines we again see House’s honesty about his current situation. He openly tells Cuddy that he has lost all hope and is ready to go back to the way he was on vicodin; which we know he thinks is terrible, because he used his life as an example of why the girl should amputate her leg earlier in the episode. And we also see honesty from Cuddy. She doesn’t try to control House’s life, as you might expect with her Type A personality and desire to have everything under control. But she doesn’t try to fix House. She honestly tells him that she can’t make his choices for him.

“You need to re-bandage your shoulder.”
“Is that why you’re here? Foreman sent you?”
“No.”
“You here to yell at me again?”
“No.”
“Well, I’m running out of ideas.”

We again see that House still doesn’t understand why Cuddy showed up- he thinks that she only came because he was bleeding. Which, again, explains his curt response when she first walked in. But despite House’s somewhat rude tone, Cuddy just quietly and calmly responds “no.” And as House said, he doesn’t have any other ideas as to why she would be there- he doesn’t have any hope left that she would actually leave Lucas for him. Which we can see in his response as soon as Lucas’s name comes out of her mouth:

“Lucas…”
“Oh great, you’re feeling uncomfortable again. It probably means you just got back from some quickie wedding in Vegas or you’re already pregnant…”

House responds with his honest feelings which I don’t think he would have done in the past. His complete hopelessness brings out his raw emotions and he lets her hear his miserable train of thought. But she interrupts him:

“I ended it.”
“What?”

Now this moment I love. The expression on House’s face is one of complete and utter shock. His hopelessness is remedied in those three simple words. He honestly was not expecting them at all and I don’t think many of us as fans were either. And now we get complete honesty from Cuddy about where she is:

“I’m stuck, House. I keep wanting to move forward, I keep wanting to move on, and I can’t. I’m in my new house with my new fiancé and all I can think about is you. I just need to know if you and I can work.”

Cuddy says the words we were all only dreaming she would say. You can hear the sense of defeat in her voice as she admits that she has failed in living her own desires for herself. She desperately wanted to live a normal life with Lucas and to have her version of the “American Dream” with a husband, little girl, and white picket fence. But she honestly can’t. She has realized that she can’t move on without at least giving House a chance, seeing if they can make it. She has been running away, trying to convince herself that he isn’t right for her, but she has finally stopped running. Meanwhile, House is holding his shocked expression and she reveals herself to him.

“You think I can fix myself?”
“I don’t know.”
“Cause I’m the most screwed up person in the world.”
“I know.”

How’s that for open honesty? Cuddy admits that she knows she is taking a chance, which she doesn’t usually like to do. She doesn’t know if House is going to be able to pull it all together. And House is the first one to admit that he is broken. A season ago, I don’t think House would have showed that amount of honesty about himself. I think he would just continue to come back with witty comments and deflect, but he has changed.

“I love you. I wish I didn’t. But I can’t help it.”

There’s what we’ve all been waiting for! She said it! She is completely honest with House- she tells him she loves him, which is huge! But I also love that she admits that she wishes she didn’t but can’t help it. She is completely honest with him even though may hurt, she doesn’t hold anything back.

And now another little thing that I love about this scene: House tries to get up, but can’t. And instead of looking for another way to stand himself up, he reaches his hand out to Cuddy. House has usually been self-conscious about his leg around most people, but not with Cuddy. He openly and honestly allows her to see his weakness. He has complete trust that she isn’t going to take advantage of his vulnerability.

And I like the way that they kiss- it’s not heated and passionate like in House’s hallucination last season, but very loving and romantic. Their relationship has changed now. It’s not a one time kiss, or a one night stand. It’s a real relationship now- they can take their time.

“How do I know I’m not hallucinating?”
“Did you take the vicodin?”
“No.”
“Then I think we’re okay.”
“Yeah.”

House admits that he is still doubting that all of this is real (as I’m sure a lot of us fan were too!). But Cuddy points out that he didn’t take the drugs, he’s clean. And they both can’t help but smile and glow as House drops the vicodin, they kiss again, and hold hands.

The pure honesty between these two always makes me smile. They are both honest about their failures. House is open about his weakness and Cuddy is open about her failure to ignore him. That is the basis for a real relationship- pure honesty with each other. I cannot wait for the next season to start so we can see where their relationship goes.

Thoughts, everyone???
"Yes, it is I, Missy!!" she yelled as she jumped off the balcony. Thud.
"Is she ok??" asked Fruity.
"Nothing can hurt me, for I am protected by the power of 14!" yelled Missy, as she stood up.
"Uhuh..." we all said, except...
"HECK YEAH!! HIGH FIVE MISSY!! WOOOO!!!" yelled PLH giving Missy a high five as she ran off with Missy to do... 14 stuff.
"Uhoh... who's gonna keep us under control now?" asked Cuddles.
"I'm scared." said p_r.
"Ok guys, lets just do what PLH told us to do." said OM.
"Good idea." they agreed. So Team Alpha ran off to the elevators, forgetting they were supposed to take the stairs,...

*Cuddy retured home from work about 11pm. She paid the babysitter and sat down on the couch. Tired from all the crap House had been giving her.*

All of a sudden there was a knock on the door.

House? What the hell are you doing here? Didnt get enough of me during the day?

My cable's out and my internet is slow. I figured I could get action faster if I drove all the way over here....

Chapter 4
It was the day of the party. Cuddy found it hard to shield her excitement, and tried to continue with her everyday duties. However, her mind kept drifting back to house, and what stunt he was going to pull tonight. She was determined to look her best. To be honest, he was the only reason she wanted to go. She hated hospital donors, who always looked down on her, making her feel like a child again. Completely the opposite from how house made her feel.
She left work early, to get ready. She had spent weeks attempting to choose the right dress, and she had finally found one. It was all...

(The week had passed quickly, and news had reached the hospital that Cuddy’s mom had lost her battle against cancer. Wilson walked in on House’s differential to tell him.)

Wilson: House, can we talk?

(House knew what Wilson was going to say from the look on his face.)

House: Do the tests.

(The team all left. House walked into his office, and sat in his lounge chair-putting his leg up. Wilson followed.)

House: What happened?

Wilson: I got a call, Friday night. I drove to her house and I stayed with her until they took her mom away.

(House seemed uncomfortable, almost annoyed with himself for being...

Sorry its taken a while.
Next chapter will be up shortly. Pleas give me an honest opinion.

Chapter 3

He sat, frozen, unable to take his eyes from hers. However, something had changed in her eyes. Over the last few months, she had seemed distant, and had always had a far- off look in her eyes. But something had changed, she looked free. His heart gave a silent leap. He had missed that sparkle in her eyes, which he felt was reserved just for him.
“House, I……” she began, struggling for the right words.
“Have broken up with Wilson” He finished for her, smirking at the stunned expression...

I loved that. I think it was a really good episode, kinda exciting, depressing (my heart almost broke for 13 =( ), and of course totally Cuddified, in a huddified kinda way. She was very worried for him, which guard guy pointed out at various points. However i would like to start the article first with an OMG for Emancipation! It wasn’t the best episode in the world, and i almost feel sorry for myself i had to drag myself through watching it with my mum in the same day. However the look at the end was totally worth it. He was so full of longing and lust (and slightly curious to) that him...

Ok so I'm not sure that I should be writing this as an article, and it's my first article so it probably sucks but here goes nothing.
I know "Emancipation" was definitely not Huddy(or even Cuddy) heavy at all, but I think the lack of Huddy in this ep is significant. The fact that they are avoiding eachother and really have not had a moment completely alone together since their kiss proves how much it meant to each of them. House especially is afraid to be in the same room with only her, as evidenced in "The Itch" and "Emancipation." He knows that if they are alone together, he will have to...

Absolute Clarity…

I read an email interview with Lisa E on Cuddy and Huddy and it got me thinking…

My feeling after watching the kiss (phwoar! H-O-T! wasn’t it?!) is that Cuddy was in such a dark, painful place that when House looked at her he saw himself reflected in her eyes: She was feeling the kind of pain he feels and I think for him to see the woman who is always so strong and the only one to really stand up to him in such pain made him realise how much he needs her in his life as the strong, sassy, and don’t forget sexy, woman who is his sparring partner and gives just as good...

Ok, i read the summary of episode 6 'The Joy' and my mind went into overdrive! Huddy has been the only thing in my brain since then!

Ok, I think that Cuddy will have a massive conflict of interest because she is going to adopt the baby. I think House will have to step in and help because she can't cope with the pressure as she will want to save the baby over the mum and House will take both into account.

I think that House will have to take over the case and he will not want to end up not saving the baby as he will know that that will be like him killing Cuddy's baby and breaking her heart in...

In an interview I read featuring David Shore, he said that House having a long term relationship on the show would be problematic. I feel that this doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
When House and Cuddy get together this season whether or not it lasts a whole season or not I think that in the end of the series, he should be able to maintain a long term romantic relationship with Cuddy.
My main reasons for this is because from the pilot onward, the show has been structured in such a way that Cuddy is House's femme fatale/oldest friend/romantic interest. It would be odd to have him settle...

"You're having dinner at Cuddy's? You can't be serious, House," Wilson said as he sat down on his friend's couch.
"Jimmy, I've never been more serious."
"She's still with Paul, isn't she?"
"Yeah, she's still with the funny looking P.I."
"So, why on earth is she having a dinner date with you?"
"Because I am a master manipulator."
"What did you do now?"
"I merely appealed to her fervent desperation to have all department heads at her dull fundraiser."
"I have a feeling she wasn't the one to offer dinner at her place," Wilson said as he propped his feet up on the coffee table.
"She offered the...

I'll tell you a little bit about myself first. No offense to hamerons, but i have always been a outright HUDDY fan.So I am obviously bouncing off the walls. When this seaseon starts, I feel like everyone has kind of abandoned House. I mean I get the whole pain in the a$$ thing but still. Wilson is the one that fixes everthing and for him to basically laugh at him when he apologizes is cruel. THe bright light at the end of the tunnel is Cuddy is going to do whatever it takes to make House happy above anyone else.
SO GO CUDDY!

"Cuddy?, Are you okay?," Wilson said as he stood in front of at Cuddy's office door.
"Oh, sorry Wilson I must of fallen asleep for a moment...what do you need?"
Looking behind him nervously, he locked the door and closed the blinds.
"Wilson?"
"I need to warn you of something."
"What is House planning now," she said as she started glancing over a file.
"That's the thing, I don't know. But I know him well enough to realize when he has something going on. He has that certain smile on his face he only gets for two reasons: he's played a practical joke on me or he's about to mess with you."

Another day at the hospital has gone by.Cuddy is sitting in her office, arranging some paperwork, thinking about what she saw in House's office. The only thing she wants to do is go home and have a bublebath and forget about House. But,that was hard. She was in love with him and it was killing her that House was dating another woman.Shockingly, today,House was on his best behaviour, except for the office incident. He didn't barge, not once,in her office, with crazy demands, didn't even insult a patient.Cuddy...

It’s late night when House enters Cuddy’s office. She's lying down on her couch and she seems really sleepy. He grins and he walks, or rather limps to her and lifts up her legs so he can take a seat and then he puts them in his lap.

- "Hey what are you doing?" says Cuddy sleepy.

- "Oh nothing." says House innocent.

Then he moves a little more to the right so her thighs are in his lap now and he puts his hands on her thighs.

- "What do you want.." says Cuddy and rolls her eyes tiredly with annoyance and shifts a little. “And stop touching my thighs”

- “Technically I’m touching your...

Dedicated to the awesome that is you,the Huddys ^^

Enjoy!

A lover from afar,
Isn't really a lover at all.
If she truly loves him,
And he truly lovers her.
Aren't they lovers at all?

They were once lovers.
Deeply passionate lovers.
But those days have come,
And those times have gone
But they both hadn't moved on.

She had gone through many
Lusters and not one lover.
She had thought about him
And that made the lusters
Turn into dust.

He had gone through a another lover,
But she wasn't like her.
As he thought about her,he
Began to love she more.
But she moved on to another.

A lover from afar,is
Truly a lover at all.As thoughts
Become actions,and actions,
Became thoughts.
He and her are indeed,
Lovers from afar.

Tell me what you think :)
