It was the middle of the night when the phone began ringing off the hook. Cuddy sleepily turned on her light and picked up her phone.
"Hello?"
"I solved the case."
"Good... What was killing her?"
"As much as I hate to admit it, it was Lupus."
Laughing a little at his admission, Cuddy leaned back against her pillow.
"You know it is two in the morning. You could have told me this at work."
"Where would be the fun in that? This way I get to hear your husky 'just got out of bed voice'."
"I saved you some meatloaf."
"Hopefully, you left out the peas."
"Sans peas. I'll leave the food in your office."
"Or I could come by your house and pick it up."
"Probably better for me to give it to you at work."
"Afraid I'll corner you again?"
"I'm not afraid of you, House."
"Then I can come over."
"We kissed," she said in a sudden whisper.
"I know. I started the whole thing."
"I'm with Paul."
"Yeah, I know. Things can change."
"Maybe I don't want them to change."
"Then you wouldn't have kissed back."
"You want things to change? You have never handled change well,House."
"Well, it's not like you and I haven't kissed before. Remember we did become rather horizontal once."
"I remember, House. But that was a long time ago. Nothing happened since then and now we're.."
"Kissing in your kitchen," he said finishing her sentence.
"It was a really good kiss," she said with grin as she pulled the covers around her.
"No need to tell me. I know how impressive my lips can be."
"Get over yourself. Mountains did not move."
"But your face was redder than a tomato."
"Well, you lost all eye contact with me after. Dare I say, you seemed shy?"
"What are you wearing?"
"You're deflecting my question. Interesting." she said with a giggle.
"I don't think I've ever heard you make that sound before. It's nice..."
There was a long silence.
"I won't cheat on him."
"Then don't."
"It's really late to be talking about..."
"Alright. We'll talk later."
"Goodnight,House."
"Goodnight,Cuddy."

I'll tell you a little bit about myself first. No offense to hamerons, but i have always been a outright HUDDY fan.So I am obviously bouncing off the walls. When this seaseon starts, I feel like everyone has kind of abandoned House. I mean I get the whole pain in the a$$ thing but still. Wilson is the one that fixes everthing and for him to basically laugh at him when he apologizes is cruel. THe bright light at the end of the tunnel is Cuddy is going to do whatever it takes to make House happy above anyone else.
SO GO CUDDY!
SO GO CUDDY!
