@knougechick: I read the books after seeing the movie, and while they changed ALOT of things, the essence is the same. Why would they change the name of one of their Lead Characters? They had to give him teeth so he's better looking on the big screen, but had to keep the name 'Toothless' as well. So, they came up with the idea of retractable teeth.

I love both the books and the film, but I think the Movie is more or less a giant AU Fanfiction of the books. It's also one of those stories I just don't want to even think of examining the differences, b/c
