Stoick would proudly tell anyone who wanted to know-which wasn't many,considering that he trumpeted this to everyone in sight-that when he was a boy,his father had told him to smash his head against a rock and it had split in two.Of course,he'd left out the part where he had burst into tears.And the part where he was rushed to hospital.And the part where he had to wear a cast for two months.But the main message was the same:it taught him what vikings could do.They could crush mountains,level forests and tame seas.From the time they were born,they were built to be strong.To be brave.To be fighters.But...
