Writers notes:
For this to make sense you need to read Assembly of Heroes on the Rise of the Kung Fu Dragons fan club and series one of Legends of Berk, a lot of reading yes but it's a damn good story.
Berk, four months after wedding, Snoggeltog Eve
Hiccup looked over the peaceful island that was Berk, the sun shining off his leather flight suit/armour, Toothless, Astrid and Stormfly stood beside him, it had been four months since he and Astrid had got married and life was calm.
But in the months in preparation, the four along side the rest of the teen Vikings and their dragons along with newcomers Ignis and Storm with their Flightmares, Shadow and Scarlet had fought psychopathic skeletons, alter egos and evil from other worlds.
Astrid: five years ago, if someone said that I'd be in this situation I'm in now, I might of killed them
Hiccup: is this before or after you met Toothless?
Astrid: before, I'd never would of married anyone before
Hiccup: (facing Toothless) another win for team Dragon-trainer
Astrid: (giggles)
The other teens (well adults) were flying overhead laughing and cheering, Ignis and Shadow weren't among them, this was to be expected as neither of them like Snotlout, Ruffnut, Tuffnut or their dragons, it wasn't personal it was just instinctual
Hiccup: (to Storm) happy Snoggeltog, no Ignis then!
Storm: he's in the forest working on his Omega powers, oh that reminds me he wants to see you about your Omega powers
Tuffnut: I don't see why Hiccup deserves powers
Astrid: your just saying that because he doesn't destroy stuff with it
Ruffnut: that would be so awesome
Storm: are these guys always like this?
Fishlegs: you get use to it
Storm: really? You get use to... That?
Astrid: ( to Hiccup) look if Ignis need to talk to you, due to his resent attitude, it means that something's wrong
Astrid was right, Ignis had been a bit distant since the wedding, he focused almost all of his time either with Storm or in the forest
Hiccup: ok I'll head out (climbs onto Toothless) lets go bud
And with that, they shot into the air
Forest
Hiccup landed in the same valley where he had his second encounter with Toothless, this was where Ignis sat, he wore his usual black clothing with the added black gauntlets on each arm, his eyes were closed, one hand in a fist in front of his chest, the palm of his other hand rested on the fists side, his dragon, a Flightmare called Shadow rested not far from him.
Ignis: oh hey Hiccup
Hiccup: (nervously) hey... Look you've been at this for nearly four months, it's starting to worry us
Ignis: us?
Hiccup: me, Astrid, your fiancé
Ignis: (shock) Strom, why does she have to worry, I send quiet a bit of time with her
Hiccup: but not with the rest of us and... I... What exactly are you doing?
Ignis: trying to access the higher levels of my power
The sound of energy cackeling begun to fill the air around the two teens, Ignis want panting like he was sprinting as fast as he could, he begun to push his palm away from his fist and in the space between them was a blue light, sweet was running down Ignis's face, Hiccup begun to panic, Shadow woke up and ran to his master, Ignis noticed this, lost his focus and the blue energy seemed to explode around them, there was no damage but it did sent the four of them flying in all direction.
Ignis: (groaning) that... Was... INCREDIBLE we need to learn more
Hiccup: what was that?
Ignis: it's call my Inner Strength, all Omegas have it, I've been learning mine so I'd be a match for Alpha
Alpha was getting stronger by the week, he hadn't attacked in months but it was still a good idea to prepare.
Hiccup: now what
Ignis: (getting on Shadow) we need to head back to town, I have four months of gossip to catch up on
Hiccup: (getting on Toothless) I can safely say not much
Ignis: oh a bit disappointing, oh and Hiccup
Hiccup: yes
Ignis: happy Snoggeltog
Town
Ignis was quickly welcomed by Storm with a long, hard kiss, then a hug from Astrid, a handshake from Fishlegs and 'your dead' looks from Snotlout, Tuffnut and Ruffnut
Astrid: welcome back
Ignis: cheers
Snotlout: great, the other weirdo returns
Storm: he may be a weirdo...
Ignis: hey!
Storm... But he's my weirdo
Ignis: awwww
Fishlegs: and he can beat you and the twins up
Tuffnut: no he didn't
Hiccup: we were all watching, he did
Later on the group were all at one of the watch post (the one where Gobber said "a downed dragon is a dead one" in the movie), the sun was setting on the island and the team were eating fish with their dragons, they laughed and shared stories but soon it ended when Hookfang had to take a paralyse Snotlout home after Shadow paralysed him after Snotlout insulted Storm, Fishlegs and Meatlug went next, then the twins and Barf and Belch, which left, Hiccup, Astrid, Ignis, Storm, Toothless, Stromfly, Shadow and Scarlet.
Ignis: Over a year and a half ago. I had just came here from another world, and I've achieved so much more
Astrid: yeah things have changed
Hiccup: I just hope things don't change again soon
Storm: you idiot, you've jinked it now
Hiccup: (laughs) I know, I meant to do that
Toothless: growls tiredly
Astrid: yeah Toothless, your right, time to go
Ignis: we should be getting home as well
Hiccup climbed onto Toothless as Astrid climbed onto Stormfly
Hiccup: ok good night
Ignis and Storm: night
They all waved goodbye and headed home
Hiccups home
The two riders arrived at their home to see a horrifying sight, Stoick and Thornado were outside the house shivering in fear
Stoick: (shivering) H... H... Hiccup... A... Astrid... D... Don't go in their
Hiccup and Astrid ran to Stoick and helped him to his feet
Hiccup: what is it dad
Stoick: a demon... There's a demon in there
Hiccup: a what
Astrid: a demon
Stoick: y... Yes please... Get help
Hiccup: Astrid, get Ignis
Astrid: what are you gonna do?
Hiccup: comfort my dad
Astrid: I'll be back (climbs onto Stromfly and flys off)
After a few minutes, Astrid, Stormfly, Ignis, Storm, Shadow and Scarlet arrived at the home, Ignis jumped right off his dragon and straight to Stoick
Ignis: did you say a demon
Stoick: yes
Ignis: ah, well (to team) guys, do you know what we have on our hands
Storm: a demon
Ignis: no a Holo-image
Astrid: a what
Dragons: growl of confution
Ignis: a Holo-image is a projection of an image that is used to scare enermies away from a certain location
Hiccup: so Alpha's behind it?
Ignis: yes and I think that this 'demon' is behind the writing on the wall
Astrid: so what do we do?
Ignis: we need to get in there and smoke it out (he walks to the door) anyone want to stay behind and make sure the doors open when the rest of us are screaming our heads off out the door?
Storm: I'll do it
Ignis: (kisses Storm) thank you
Hiccup: (taking dagger from wrist guard) let's do this
Astrid: a violent Hiccup?
Hiccup: no one messes with my dad
Ignis: let's go before Hiccup kills us
Astrid: agreed
In house
Ignis, Hiccup and Astrid walked into the house, the cold temperature hit them like fists.
Ignis: search everywhere for a blue stone, when you find it smash it, that will get rid of the Holo-image
Hiccup/Astrid: right
Outside
Strom and the dragons noticed Stoick stand up with confidence, this made all five of them suspicious
Storm: what are you doing?
Stoick: what's right for Berk (signals darkness, Vikings come out with dragons)
Toothless/Stormfly/Shadow/Scarlet: growl with anger
Storm: your not
Stoick: destroying my own home and family for the safety of Berk, yes
Two Vikings grabbed Strom by the arms and held her down, more Vikings came and held the teams dragons down
Storm: there wasn't a demon was there, it was all you, the writing, that was you
Stoick: clever, too bad you or you husband to be could figure that out (to dragons) open fire!
The dragons then have out large waves of fire and the house was disintegrated in seconds
Strom: NO!!!
Teams dragons: roar of sadness and anger
Stoick: at last the plague of Berk is gone
Voice: funny
Everyone turned to see Ignis, Hiccup and Astrid standing a few feet away from the team dragons, Hiccup and Astrid forced the Vikings off the teams dragons and Ignis threw the Vikings off Strom
Hiccup: I knew of your plot from the begginging because the way you wrote "Astrid get out"
Astrid: obviously you didn't want me in the crossfire and you wanted to put the idea of a demon or ghost in our home but you missed the commer, it should be "Astrid, get out"
Hiccup: so we used ilutuons of ourselves and Stroms acting skills to make it look like we had gone inside the house
Ignis: now because it's Snoggeltog, what I'm gonna do is...
Stoick: please don't kill us
Ignis: is let you off on a warning
Stoick: oh thank you Odin
Ignis: but erase your memories of the plot
Stoick: WHAT!!!
Next morning
The next day, Ignis, Hiccup, Storm, Astrid, Shadow, Toothless, Stromfly and Scarlet met at the greet hall, parantly the whole of Berk (excerpt the teens and Gobber) was in on it, that meant that Ignis and Hiccup had spent the whole night erasing memories.
Ignis: tired Hiccup?
Hiccup: oh yes
Astrid: worth it though, we saved our own lives
Storm: and we get to spend the whole of Snoggeltog with each other (she then held out a tray of Yacknogg, each member of the team took a mug)
Storm: happy Snoggeltog guys (holding Ignis's free hand)
Whole team: happy Snoggeltog (all drink the Yacknogg then turn away and vomit it out, dragons roar out in laughter)
