I was just reading a comment about how this episode was more fun than previous ones (oldmovie, methinks), and I suddenly thought "Hey, have we even had a clinic patient this season?! I'm really disappointed by this sudden revalation, because I do find myself enjoying the show less this season, despite the amazingness of all the episodes. They all see too tense to me, too much drama. I did enjoy the PI's episode very much, because there were many good jokes between House and Lucas, and it was a generally fun ep when the two of them were involved. Apart from that, I've hardly laughed this season. Or at least the moments weren't memerable enough for me to remember laughing at them, whereas in previous seasons I can remember many many clinic patients I've laughed at.

I suppose this must be a sacrafice of having such a large cast and all the current drama, but I do miss the laughs!

Quit harping on Thirteen and start torturing innocent people with House's comments, thats my opinion!

The clinic is part of what makes House a dramedy. I think that we'll get more clinic scenes than we did in season 4 though because we don't have to worry about the House reality show and there's no more writer's strike.

Its just now since we have a bigger cast and more things are going on in everybodys personal lives, they just dont have enough time to fit in the clinic patients.

There weren't any in Season 4 either...
I realy, really miss those scenes! I know, I know he have enough characters to deal with as it is but could we please have a tiiiiny little clinic scene once in a while?! Pleeeease writers! ;-) They always brought such a wonderful lightness to the show!

Yeah House got a lot smarter he knows all the ways to get out of clinic duty. And when he can't, he sends the new ducklings to do it for him :D
