CHAPTER 3 Cuddy sat in her office and watched House walk away, ‘what will I do if he dies?’ she thought ‘I won’t be able to take it; it will rip my heart in two. I will do ANYTHING to keep that from happening!’
House walked into his office, almost exactly like before only this time Kutner had the common sense (and the enjoyment of being alive) not to be playing on House’s computer; instead he borrowed someone’s laptop. Everyone heard House come in but had decided it would be best if they just ignored him and let him start any conversations, about anything.
In every single episode,we are witnesses of the power play displays between House and Cuddy, the employee against his employer. In real life, this kind of juxtaposition would never occur because the employer is the master of his domain and won't tolerate any questioning of his or her authority. But,House Md is not just an ordinary show but depicts life in the most blunt manner(references to naturalism) and criticises many aspects of it such as authority power. This article will compare two profound despotic governing models as described by Tomas Hobbs in "Leviathan" and Nicolo Machiavelli in "The...
HUDDY gets found out by the team; when they get caught in a compromised position while making out in PPH.
House sneaks into Cuddy’s office and leaves a little note in her desk; signed with a funny euphemism. No one knows anything about their relationship except for Wilson; who only knows about the infamous kiss.
(Cuddy walks into her office early in the morning and puts her briefcase on her desk, before opening her desk drawer to find the note from House.)
Clinic at 12. Room 3. Patient with the obviously large metaphor.
(Cuddy smiles and puts it in her pocket. Wilson walks...
A/N: this chapter was accomplished with the brilliant brain food provided by CSINaomi at FF.net! props for her!!! A/N: also, there might be one or two more chapters after this, I am not sure yet. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Booth opened the door to the SUV for Brennan. She climbed in and gingerly buckled herself in. as Booth put the keys in the ignition and started out of the PPTH parking lot, all was silent. About 20 minutes into the drive, Brennan spoke. “This thing,” she gestured in the general area of her stomach, “will be inside me for seven...
Title: Used Rating: R/NC-17 Pairings: House/Wilson FS, House/Cuddy FS, eventual Wilson/OFC, possible House/Cuddy Warnings: graphic violence and non-con, sexual content, mild language Summary: House experiences the most traumatic ordeal of his life. Will he be able to survive? Will his friends be able to help him?
Chapter Two An Ugly Truth
"House? House! Come on, now, buddy, stay with me here, okay? House!"
Wilson found that he was nearly yelling, struggling to keep his friend conscious. Unsure how much blood he might have lost or how badly he was injured, he was afraid to allow him to pass out, for...
Their arms entwined, vague silhouettes to each other and invisible to anyone else… as always.
What they saw in each other had always been invisible to the rest of the world but in this darkness it seemed silver lined: Wilson knew he would never be able to leave House’s side simply because he was unable to let go now that all he’d claimed to hate was in his arms, pressed up against him like something precious… and something all his. And so James Wilson the guardian angel regained his position.
My current House-related obession is the official soundtrack. While it doesn't include what many fans would consider essential House songs (such as The Who's "Baba O'Reilly" and AC/DC's "Highway To Hell", just to name a couple), every track on the album is excellent and reminds us of our favourite episodes, scenes and characters. So I thought I would share with you a few lyrics from certain songs on the album that really capture the essence of all that is Dr. Gregory House.
*Lyrics in bold are ones that I think are particularly significant!
One knows one is bored when one thinks too much about the philosophy of television...
I love Monk, the show about an obsessive-compulsive man who assists the police by solving crimes with his unusually accurate eye for detail. Unfortunately, television stations like to annoy me by either taking the shows I love off-air or moving them to time-slots that only stay-at-home-mothers can watch when their kids are at school, or when the only people awake are drug addicts and insomniacs. This happened with Monk, which was first moved to a late-night time-slot and then to an afternoon slot.
Here is collection of interactions between House and Cuddy. There were SO many to choose from, so this is just a small collection of quotes that I found hilarious! You could cut the tension with a scalpel...
Cuddy: It's not going to work. You know why? Because this is fun. You think of something to make me miserable, I think of something to make you miserable. It's a game, and I'm going to win. Because I got a headstart - you're already miserable.
House: If (Cuddy) doesn't solve this soon, her head's going to explode and I don't want to get any on me.
