Drip, drop, drip, drop. You could hear the precipitation as it slowly began to rain. Drip after drop the rain fell harder and faster as it hit every roof and window. A rather young girl, in a brown over coat covering her head, stood outside a rather large building.
She hesitantly took a step towards the building, debating whether or not to get any closer, watching as people moved from here to there and from there to here. She swallowed hard and went with her gut. Then slowly, yet surely, she pushed through the see through doors and entered the building.
She started looking around for someone to bother. She took a deep breath starting to reconsider her decision. A bit unsure of what she should do next she stood there and continued to watch as people moved constantly and almost never stopped. Waiting to see if somebody, anybody would notice her.
Almost instantly a middle-aged woman, dressed rather professionally came up to her with a kind expression on her face.
“Hello, I’m Dr. Lisa Cuddy,” She introduced herself, “Can I help you?”
The young girl stood there quietly. No one has ever really asked to assist her with anything. She was unsure of how to answer the kind question. She slowly looked at the middle-aged doctor and stared at her for a moment, reading her facial expression and body language. She swallowed hard once more and opened her mouth to speak.
“No thank you,” Her voice was sweet and soft, “I think I can—”, she was interrupted by a rather loud yell.
“You.” shouted a man, also middle-aged, pointing his cane at the doctor who had ask to assist the young girl.
Dr. Cuddy sighed with annoyance.
“What is it now, House?” She asked pretty irritated.
“What did you do? Where did you put them?” He asked completely ignoring a young girl standing next do Cuddy.
“What are you talking about?” The middle-aged woman asking, acting as if she were completely clueless.
“My vicodin. My secret stash. Where did you put it?” He asked staring her down.
“Oh that, well, I took it away.” She answered simply.
“Why?” He asked, with anger in his voice.
“Well, because you already have a bottle that just needs to get refilled and some patients are complaining that their doctor is getting high on drugs.” Cuddy said with a victorious smirk, thinking she had ended the argument.
“That can be any doctor in the world.” He shouted.
“No, you’re the only doctor in this hospital that takes vicodin constantly in front of his patients.” She said, with a bit of a dull tone.
“It’s not as if they don’t get better.” He said, believing he could win the little argument.
“Yes, but patients rather have a doctor who isn’t stoned or high.”
“I’m still doing my job correctly aren’t I?” He didn’t back down.
“House, I took them away and hid them. If you need more vicodin just tell Wilson or I and we’ll either write you a prescription or I’ll return, little by little, your secret stash.” She said bring the confrontation to an end.
“This isn’t over.” He said having the last word in the argument and going back to the elevator.
Cuddy, forgetting all about the young girl she was about to assist turned her back and started to head back to the clinic. The young girl went after her.
“Um, excuse me.” The young girl called out to the doctor.
Lisa stopped and turned around feeling a bit sorry about forgetting the young girl who was standing right there.
“Oh I’m sorry, do you need help?” She asked for the second time.
The young girl, suddenly shy, stood there once more and looked at the ground quietly. She wanted to ask a question but felt rude for calling out to her in that manner.
“Are you okay? Do you feel sick?” The doctor asked in a more concerned tone.
The young girl stood there for another moment thinking of what to say exactly so she doesn’t accidentally say something wrong. She shook her head and looked at the doctor with a sweet soft smile.
“No ma’am, I am not feeling at all ill and yes I am okay,” She said kindly and with the sweetest voice you ever heard, “I just have a little question.” She stated hesitantly.
“Well what is it,” Cuddy asked kindheartedly, “If it’s embarrassing I’ll keep it a secret. I swear on my life.”
The young girl smiled widely at the kindness and sincerity of the doctor in front of her. She didn’t feel as shy as she did not 5 minutes ago.
“Well that doctor you were just speaking to,” She began looking at Cuddy to make sure she knew who she was talking about, “Was that Dr. Gregory House?”
Cuddy’s smile left a bit, but did not disappear completely as she nodded. She thought that once more, House had done something wrong.
“Why, what did he do this time?” Cuddy asked dully expecting a whole list of complaints.
To her surprise the girl just smiled appreciatively, thanked Cuddy and ran off to follow House. Cuddy stood there in confusion watched as the girl go up the stairs instead of taking the elevator.
The young girl wandered the hall for a while looking for House. She looked on every door and around every corner. Finally she made it to House’s office and to her surprise Dr. Cuddy was there once again. The young girl hadn’t noticed that it had taken her so long to find the office.
Hesitantly the girl knocked on the transparent glass door. She waited outside for them to motion her to come in as if it were a wooden door.
House looked past Cuddy and to the girl and waited for her to enter. When she hesitated and stayed waiting House gave her a confused look.
Cuddy, seeing this look, turned around to see the young girl she had ran into downstairs. She looked at House and waited for him to let her in.
“Invite her in.” Cuddy instructed.
“Why can’t she come in herself? Is she some sort of robot who only takes orders, wait no that your kid.” House stated.
Cuddy just glared and replied, “She is one of those polite kids, House. Now invite her in or she won’t come in at all.”
“I don’t mind. I wanna see how badly she wants to get my autograph.” House stated.
Cuddy merely rolled her eyes and sighed.
“Come on in, sweetie.” Cuddy said instantly changing her demeanor to a happy friendly one.
The young girl took a deep breath and stared at the two doctors as she stood still outside. She had been invited in but started to reconsider even leaving her home in the first place. She looked at House and Cuddy as they watched and waited for her to come on in. With a deep breath and a hard swallow she entered the room nervously.
“Do you need something?” House asked in his rude snide way.
“I-I’m Anne Harris,” The young girl began finally taking off the over coat, “And I’m—”
She started to feel pain in her lower abdomen. She held her sides in great pain. Anne groaned and tried not to cry or scream.
“Are you okay?” Cuddy asked, putting her hand on Anne’s shoulder.
Anne nodded weakly. She’s been feeling pain there for a while and learned to ignore and sometimes control it. As she took deep breaths and began to smile once more, she looked up at the doctor kindly. Just when she believed she was feeling better, she began to vomit. House jumped up from his desk and Cuddy jumped back. Anne started to feel dizzy and began to lose consciousness.
“Anne! Anne! Anne!” Anne could hear them calling her name as she began to fade into the darkness.

So this is something I made in Literature class because we're seeing poetry and well, I decided that House deserved and Ode
Magnificent show it is
when it's gone I'm sure we'll miss
the joy it's brought by it
But let's not hink about that part,
not yet,
the ending is far.
It's unknown the charm
of that sarcastic ass
who likes to prank
his best friendat times.
But it's a known truth
his attitude is rude
and that we don't mind
his continous snarks.
His beard, his cane
makes him rare,
unique, if I may say.
His eyes are lightning rays
taht allow us to see
the genious and human he is.
Our love is devoted
and we trust them
to keep him in shape
and not change his grace.
It unites us fans
the crazy teenage girls
that wouldn't care
to be insulted by
this aroogant man.
