My current House-related obession is the official soundtrack. While it doesn't include what many fans would consider essential House songs (such as The Who's "Baba O'Reilly" and AC/DC's "Highway To Hell", just to name a couple), every track on the album is excellent and reminds us of our favourite episodes, scenes and characters. So I thought I would share with you a few lyrics from certain songs on the album that really capture the essence of all that is Dr. Gregory House.

This songs always reminds me of how House is in general. Sort of brooding and melancholy but in a way, kind of upbeat about his own misery.

This song reminds me of how people see House. People who care about him, like Cuddy, Wilson, Cameron and Stacey, see him as a tough but also fragile man and I think this song captures that!

This song makes me think of House's relationship with Wilson and Cuddy. They are constantly trying to help him out and make sure he is okay. But, like in the song, they repeat themselves ("Are you alright? Are you alright") But House often ignores them or does the opposite of what they say.




I also like the lyrics from 'Got To Be More Careful' by Jon Cleary. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the full lyrics, but the song definately reminds me of the battles House has faced against both Vogler and Tritter. And, of course, the infamous 'You Can't Always Get Want' by The Rolling Stones/Band From TV.......
