am I the only one who thinks that they should show chase in pain about his and camerons break up? i mean they were married and everything!

Well they did show him kind of upset in episode 9 (the episode after Cameron left), but I agree, I wish they would show it a bit more. Not on every episode and maybe not like a major plot, but they should really acknowlege it at some point, Chameron was a big thing.

I think Shore is not yet done with the Chase and Cameron thing, which brings us to the fact that Cameron is coming back later this season, right? The issue will most probably by brought up again soon.

I do think you can notice, he's way less smug than he usually is, keeping strictly to "business", not getting involved in anything besides that. I don't know, but I think most people don't end up moping for ages, but try to get a hold on their life, sometimes, sucking at it, but still. Also the new hair cut could be a sign of grief, him needing some changes. I admit that it is rather subtle than in-your-face, but I think it's noticeable.
On the other hand, another pass-me-the-whisky-bottle-scene wouldn't hurt either :P

Well, I was watching a video of Lisa(Cuddy) and she said that Hugh Laurie was going to be directing an episode, in which she said that Cameron might come back for the episode to explain and make up for the way in which the writers, in my opinion, wrote her out rather quickly.

Yeah, I would like to see more of a reaction from Chase. He did go after Cameron for three years and dated her for two. He put his playboy ways behind him and settled down with her. You would think he'd be destroyed after this loss.
