House M.D. Question

House getting desperate?

okay, so i just want to get this straight right now so there is no confusion. i personally dont think house is getting desperate. I just want to see if anyone does. i mean, killing someone off is pretty radical. also, the house crew said that this person didnt want to leave, the entire decision was strictly creative. so i just wanna know what you think. obviously house hasnt jumped the shark yet, not even close, but killing someone off just for creativity is pretty....well radical. anyways, again, i dont think they're getting desperate, i was just wondering=]

I don't think it seems desperate. I do think that I am sick to death of Foreteen, eventhough I thought they played a very important and interesting part tonight. Thirteen was totally heatbreaking. I don't really understand the point of the Hameron thing coming back into play. I thought that had been played out.

no way is house getting desperate. i know they are also doing it on 90210 for sum guy. maybe they just feel that kutner has run it's course. and seeing as they have a large cast, they decided in order for other characters who they have good storylines thought up, kutner should..erm die... and the effect will be huge. which gives them this huge thing to deal with.

My mother asked the same thing after I started sobbing post-episode. She was wondering why they did and if it was because Kutner was an unpopular character or something along those lines, the thing is I didn't know what to answer. I think I came up with a response on the spot (like 15 minutes ago) that explained it could have just been to add edge (radical, as you would say, lol) but maybe its going to dig deeper into the characters and their reactions (i.e. Taub) like in the episode "Wilson's Heart" regarding Amber's death. Hope this helps! :D

Many times people have been written out of a show by way of death without wanting to leave. I don't think it is that radical. PLUS...Kal has a good movie career going, so they maybe figured he would recover the best.
