How do I create a wallpaper?

I wanted to create a wallpaper for the graphics contest but i dont know how. :P

There are many way's to create wallpapers. You can use photo shop, but that's pretty complicated. You can also try paint.net, that's similar to photo shop, only simpler. Another great program to use is picasa from google, you can download this on the Internet.

I use GIMP. :-] You can find some great tutorials online if you do a bit of searching, and if you practice enough you can make some awesome graphics.
