is it true that one of the characters will commit suicide before season 5 is over?

...not really...its from an interview with one of the writers...or producers (?) of the show...

The writers said that someone will die, but a general spoiler not specifically linked to 'House MD' said that someone in a popular show is going to commit suicide. It has not been confirmed that it is on 'House MD'.
