How do you interpret the very last scene of 7x01?

I mean, they made up, they kissed and smiled to each other, then they closed the doors and were smiling for a while longer and then both grins disappeared. What do you think of that?

I'd be glad if your version is the right one. Fear is undertandable, of course. I thought they may had a thought like "It won't work anyway". Well, I guess we will se that they meant ;)
