House M.D. Question

In 3x15 "Half Wit", was the song that House claimed he had composed in Junior High an original Hugh Laurie composition or by someone else?

I can't imagine it not being by Hugh since he takes such liberties and assertiveness to compose pieces like "Cuddy's Serenade" in Unfaithful (Thank God for that), but I'm not 100% sure. I'm making a video and I want to make sure I cite everything properly, thanks :)

Good question! I've wondered this as well, since it's not credited on the official site.

Yeah, I know, same with a few other things like the "Eddie Van Halen two handed arpeggio", what song does that actually belong to? Haha, I probably need to make a separate question for that

Hugh Laurie didn't compose this song. On www.housemd-guide.com it says:

The song that was supposed to have been written by House while he was in junior high was written specifically for this episode by the people responsible for the music on the show.

One of the House producers wrote it when they were in Junior High, I cant remeber who though.
But Hugh did play it for the episode.
