But I LOVE the remake too! Like, a lot. A LOT, A LOT. But I feel like I need to vote for the original because without it, we wouldn't have this amazing series.

Of course, the original...everyone knows that Jason's mother was the killer in the first (original) movie, why change that??? That was brilliant. Messing with the formula...kinda messed with my mind and that doesn't work for me. The remake was LAME!!!

I have to say cuting Mrs. Vorhees short is what made me mad about the remake. If they had remade it with her the killer and still have that manic mama motive I would have liked it better.
