Geoffery Rush was so diabolically brilliant in this movie, plus the darkness that overtakes the house towards the end was pretty well done. Though I will say the actual house in Thirteen Ghosts was an inspired set piece.

IDK, there is something that just scares the sh*t out of me when it comes to 13 Ghosts. The fact that the house is haunted by 12 angry,tortured ghosts. I am fascinated by the ghosts' back stories. And these ghosts are p*ssed...they are NOT there because of their own "free-will"... as much free-will as a ghost can possibly have. But then the house is supposedly mechanized by black magic or some Satanic spell. THAT IS NOT GOOD!!!!XD
