I stole this from my link and link challenges with just a couple tweaks made specifically for horror.

I just love the Cryptkeeper so much! He may be mainly from the show, but the show also had 3 spinoff movies so he counts! (And he's also a protagonist/anti-hero, not an antagonist.)

I am purposely avoiding franchise characters who may have started out as such but aged throughout the series, and just focusing on one-time characters or those who stayed the same age. So...I pick Trish Jarvis, my beautiful F13 queen.

Crap, I can't use the Cryptkeeper again! Uh....I think 2017 Eddie was pretty funny, most of the time unintentionally. He was mostly endearing, and his antics made him funny.

10. Best villain
These are tough because I have so many favorites I could pick for this category (and many others) but I don't want to use the same character twice if I can avoid it so...thinking of villains I am not able to use for other days in this challenge. I choose Billy Loomis, who I thought about for hottest character then changed my mind. I also swear this is the last of the Scream franchise for this challenge. I think.

Helen from I Know What You Did Last Summer...she was fine, but to hear some fans talk about her it's like she's the second coming and she's just not that special. She had a memorable chase scene, but that's it.

24. A character you will always defend
People just don't seem to like Mark Hoffman from the Saw series and I don't quite understand why. Nobody defends his actions, but I find myself defending him a lot with fellow fans because I thought he was an amazing character, who had a fascinating start to the world of Jigsaw. He did kill Jill, my other favorite Saw character, which I was really upset about though. But overall he's a great character who deserves more fans.

Probably the best example I can think of is Amanda from Saw. I like the actress, and I love practically everyone from Saw...just not her. I think she outlived her usefulness after the first movie.

Again, I wanted to avoid using the same character more than once so while I *would* have picked Freddy Krueger for this one, I put him under the best quotes day. So, on that note...I just loved last year's IT. I was completely blown away, and Pennywise was incredible! Instant classic, instant favorite.

30. Favorite horror movie character of all-time
There is no other. The one and only Jason Voorhees, a man of NO words yet still a complex and interesting character with quite a story told over twelve films. I love him SO much that I really want to get his hockey mask tattooed on me. I snatch up any Jason merchandise I see in the stores faster than Jason can run in the 2009 remake, and there's just nobody better! My heart genuinely aches over the fact that I might not get to see another Friday the 13th movie in my lifetime what with the ongoing legal rights battle.

Jessica from Sorority Row. I hated her. I have never hated a character in a horror movie as much as I hated her. She was snobby, bitchy, manipulative, bossy, controlling, everything I hate in a human being. I wanted her to die so bad and when she did, I was glad. She was truly awful.
