I really think Carrie was well-done, even though it's kind of hokey by today's standards. I also really enjoyed The Stand. The first 2 hours was excellent.(The rest was good too)

I like The Mist because it was the closest to the short story in detail, except for the ending. One of my fav books is the Tommyknockers, but the movie was absolutely horrible, they left out so much of the book. I love the remake of The Shining, Stephen Webber was way creepier than Nicholson.

How do you justify Stephen Webber is better than Nicholson. Show your work.

I would say The Mist wins by default. In the 80's King movies would scare me as a kid, now they are just"ugh". Oh yeah, the end of Carrie also for creating one of the original end-jump scare.
