I picked her not because I like her at all. Quite the contrary. But she stirred up so many emotions in me that none of the others could even compare to. She is the one I will forever remember. And then she goes insane for a while after the centaur incident. The feeling of joy was so strong.

Umbridge was awesome, simply because I hated her so much, and she caused so much rebellion.

You can dislike Professor Snape if you wish, Mongoose09. I don't like the fact that EVERYONE likes him, even though I do myself.

Lupin's classes I always pictured really exciting and all that. He got all into his teaching. I think it really broke his heart when he had to leave.

I suppose I could shove Amicus in at the very bottom, although, other than the fact that he's a DE, we don't really know anything about him. He might have been a GREAT teacher, for all we know (highly doubtful as that is). On the other hand, he doesn't really count, because he never taught Defense Against the Dark Arts... just, Dark Arts.

Severus is a great teacher and as the DADA he was trying to teach a very little known craft called Manifestation Without Incantation. You think it and it happens. His skill in this very difficult craft and few can do is an tribute to his skills as a wizard.
