What would happen if the skull pacifier was in Baby Hercules' mouth?

The part where Hades says "And here is a sucker for the little sucker" and pinches Hercules' nose causing him to open his mouth and attempted to stick it in.
What would happen if the skull pacifier was in Baby Hercules' mouth?

He was still a god. You can't kill a god unless you make them mortal first. If it was as simple as giving him that sucker, he wouldn't have to turn him mortal.
