The show opens with Marti Perkins narrating about her life and that she is a law student. She talks about how Lancer University’s cheerleaders, the “Hellcats”, are the icon of the school because of the football team. She sits next to Dan, who is watching the cheerleaders.
In the locker room, Alice is getting wrapped up by the doctor and tells that he could just shoot her up with something. He laughs and tells her that she is going to have to heal on her own time. The coach tells that they don’t have a replacement...

"Back of a Car"
For their anniversary party, the Hellcats plan an 80s party to celebrate, complete with costumes and a musical number by Vanessa. The episode was filled with tension, jealousy, and emotion. The focus was on the love rectangle that is Marti, Lewis, Dan, and Savannah. Savannah decides she's ready to spend the night with Dan and plans a romantic evening for the two of them, but things don't exactly work out as she envisioned.
Meanwhile, Alice usurps a PR story that was supposed to be on the Lancer football team and makes it about the Hellcats, much to Jake's dismay. I loved the...

"The Match Game"
The scene opens with the Hellcats watching a video of Jemma Linkletter from WTS University and that is until she was paralyzed. This is the cheerleading group that beat the Hellcats. They don’t like it at all, but they have a chance to get to sectionals. They have to come up with 5,000 to get to go. Lewis suggests that they have a Date Auction because the football team does it and it always scores in a lot of money. The cheerleaders all agree on it. Marty asks if she is going to the copying place and Savannah tells that she is. Savannah sees Marty texting like crazy and wonders...

The scene opens with the “Hellcats” at Qualifiers. Coach Lodge gets them motivated to cheer and tells them that the University has given them an ultimatum. That is to either win Nationals, or they are going to gut their program. Marti is still sinking everything in and sees another cheer squad.
Wanda is trying to get backstage to see Marti and the security officer tells that they paged her several times already and that she will have to wait. Marti comes up and sees her mom. She is devastated and asks who told her about Qualifiers. Wanda tells that Alice did and...
