​Harry Styles has essentially been asked if One Direction\'s new single \'Perfect\'

about Taylor Swift as rumours would suggest in a very round about way; but the lad ain\'t giving too much away tbh.

Now obviously the lyrics don\'t lend themselves to the HAYLOR ERA in any way at all (ahem), the lyric \'if you\'re looking for someone to write your break up songs about\' got tongues waggin\' (for want of a better phrase) that the track could be about TayTay and her tendency to write about ex-fellas. Harreh himself reckons the song \'translates to whoever,\' though; saying it\'s all down to individual interpretation.

A bit like when the Spice Girls said \'zig-a-zig-ah\' meant \'whatever you want it to mean\' when it clearly meant they wanted a shag.

When asked by Smallzy what the song\'s all about given that there\'s \'lots of stuff floating round the internet,\' Louis said: "Yeah, I think you always write about your own experiences and that\'s where the inspiration comes from no matter how loose that might be." 

Harry added: "It doesn\'t always have to be an exact story, but I don\'t think you necessarily change the story. You maybe elaborate a tiny bit, but then not everything\'s so obvious as \'this is what happened\' and \'this is what happened,\' you know? You obviously write with lots of different ways and things can be taken in different ways.

"People take songs and three different people can think that it means three completely different things, so to be honest it translates to whoever just based on...what they take from it. \'Perfect\' is, for sure, a love song but it\'s quite a spontaneous love song in that it\'s not one about thinking through too much and being like \'hey, I wanna be with you for the rest of my life.\' It\'s like \'well, this could be fun.\'"
